CHECKING THE SEEDS ! God didn't give you and me the Word to put us in bondage ! But I have had people say, "This confession teaching just puts me in bondage. I can't say anything anymore, because I have to watch what I'm saying." The truth is you can say whatever you want; because you are a free moral agent ! You can see it taking effect when you have two watch what you are saying. Some of the things you continually speak our causing your problems. In (2 Timothy 2:19- 24-26). It says, But the firm foundation of (laid by) God staying, sure and unshaken. Bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His, and Let everyone who name [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] overruled an earthen--ware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and Psalm for menial and ignoble [use]. So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes. Consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work. Shun youthful lusts and free from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word, and deed); [and aim at and pursue] faith, love, [and] peace (harmony and concord with others) in fellowship with all (Christians], who call upon the name out of a pure heart. But refuse [shut your mind against, having nothing to do with)trifing (ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) controversies over ignorant questioning, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels. And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be timely to everyone and mild tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong. He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in whole that God may grant that they will repent And Come to Know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it]. And that they may come to their senses [and escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him, [henceforth] to do His God's will." The amplified Bible. When people come to me and tell me about their problems, sometimes I ask, "how long have you been confessing the negative over this situation ? Some have been doing it for 20 years. Their major problem is just 1 inch below there are nose --- their mouth. The problem is what they have been confessing for 20 years has them in bondage. In (Luke 17:5), the apostle said to Jesus, "Increase Our Faith." In other words, "just give us more faith." It would be good if we could just ask God to give us more faith. Wouldn't that be great if He would then give us a bushel basket full ? Notice Jesus replied in verse 6, "if you had faith as a seed, you would say. ." The King James version says, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say. . But other translation says, "if you had faith. . You would say. ." (NASB, WUEST, MOFFATT). That is a stronger statement than the King James translation. "And the Lord said, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say unto this syricamine tree, be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." (Luke 17:6)
