CHECK UP ON YOURSELF !

CHECK UP ON YOURSELF ! You have those of us who are ministers to go back and listen to our tapes or videos sometime to see how our messages is coming across. We need to check up on ourselves, even if you are not in the ministry. Sometimes things we say comes over to the audience or individuals in a different way than was intended, and they misunderstand it. In (Mark 4:24). Jesus said, "Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] now this is concerning the truth of the Word of God you hear or it can also be concerning the conversations of the world and the fallen ones . Will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you-- and more [besides] will be given to you who hear." Verse 25 For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away [by force]." The apostle Paul said, "I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God." Good news is the power of God; then if good news is the power of God bad news is the power of the devil. Good news is the power. The Gospel concerning what Jesus Christ has done for humanity is Good News. It is the gospel. And the gospel, of course, is faith, and it is prosperity, and it is healing, and it is preservation, and it is soundness. All of these are involved in salvation. When Paul the apostle said that he was telling us that the power of God is in the Word of God. And the way that we activate this power which is the authority of God in the earth is that The Word of God must first be upon your lips and then it gets in your heart (Romans 10: 8- 9- 10). Let's look at another Scripture in (Luke 8: 17-18). "For there is nothing hidden that shall not be disclosed, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come out into the open. Be careful therefore how you relisten. For to him who has [spiritual knowledge] will more be given; and for him who does not have [spiritual knowledge], even what he thinks and guesses and supposes that he has will be taken away." The amplified Bible. He (God) upholds all things by the Word of His power." The gospel is good news. It is the power of God unto salvation--- which means deliverance, preservation, healing, soundness. If you preach it the way the word says it, and with the right attitude, people will believe it. But you can turn people off by saying things the wrong way. Religion has done a good job and that. Don't take the Bible and beat people over the head with it. Sure, they are bound in religious traditions. I was to come before you first heard it--- we all were. We were all in the same boat of what has been handed down traditionally as the gospel !
