BE SPECIFIC IN YOUR PRAYERS ! Now there are some things that are inmaterial with God. Whether you drive a blue car or a red card doesn't matter with Him unless it matters to you. According to the Word in (Mark 11:24), if you desire a real one, pray for a red. Don't pray for just a car --- be very specific ! God has set a spiritual law before us. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20). "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: that thou mayest love the the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days; that thou mayest dwell in the lana which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and to Jacob,to give them." God has said a spiritual law before. If You will learn to operate under the rules of His law, we will get prayers answered. If we know that you hear us, whatsoever we ask. . . The idea presented in verse 14 is according to God's will for asking. I want to show you why you cannot interpret that verse the way most people have, namely, "if it is God's will for you to have." The Bible says in the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established; so let's go to the Word of God and find some more witnesses. Let's learn to interpret the Word of God in the light of the rest of the Bible. Don't just take one verse of Scripture and say, "That's is what He said and that is all there is to it." That can hold you in bondage. For instance, here it seemed to be saying something that it really doesn't say. If you ask anything according to His will He hears you. He is talking about your asking according to God's rule book for asking, His will for asking. What is God's will for asking ? . . . Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:6-8). That is one of the rules for asking anything from God..
