AND THEY THAT ARE CHRIST'S HAVE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH ! "Do not be deceived and deluded and misled: God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions (confessions), or by His precepts being set aside). He or she inevitably deludes or deceives themselves who attempts to delude God, for whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he or she will reap. For he or she who sows to his or her own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he or she who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint." (Galatians 6:7-8-9). The amplified Bible. "For if by one man's offense death reigned by one, and that one man was the first Adam, much more they who receive abundance of grace and love the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ ). Who is the second Adam ! Therefore, as by the offense of one the first Adam judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the second Adam the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one, the second Adam, shall many be made righteous . Moreover, the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abound, grace did much more abound; That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reigned through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ, our Lord. (Romans 5:17 through 21). "What shall we say then ? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound ? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it ? No you not that, as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized onto his death ? And this is not a metaphor, this is what has literally took in place: it's not spiritual. This literally happened. Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man (old nature) is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him, knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, death no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God." (Romans 6:1 through 10).
