ACTING AS GOD WOULD ACT PART 2 ! Let's consider how the kingdom of God principle would work regarding everyday situations. I heard of one lady who said, "pray for my husband. I've been praying for him for 25 years, and he's getting worse, he won't go to church with me." She had been praying that way all those years. She had been telling the Lord that her husband was getting worse and that he wouldn't go to church with her. She prayed the problem for 25 years. If she had prayed the answer and called for the thing's that was not, no doubt her husband would have been saved more than 20 years ago. But she was calling things that were as though they were. This is another mistake many Christians make. They call things that are as though they are, or they pray things that are as though they are, and they establish the present circumstances. Why would you call something or pray something that was already manifest ? People do foolish things sometimes, thinking they are being spiritual. They say, "I'm just telling it like it is. You have to say it like it is." But calling things that are manifest is not God's method. The Bible method is to call the things that are not manifest and keep calling them until they are manifest. O foolish people, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set for, crucified among you ! This only would I learn of you, receive the you the spirit behind the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith ? Here the apostle Paul finds a group of believers, that or perhaps being reminded that you have to keep the 10 Commandments and do the works of the law or the traditions of men. He says, Are you so foolish ? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh ? Have you suffered so many things in vain ? If it be yet in vain. He therefore that ministers to you the Spirit (Word), and worketh miracles among you, do he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith. Remember now, faith in God comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God. Also fear comes by hearing and by hearing the words of the devil and the world. And it comes quicker when you hear your self quote, speak, or say continuing either what God says or what the enemy said as well as the world. The lady kept telling God how worse her husband was getting an the enemy of all humanity the devil use the word against her; just like he uses your words against you, and bring into manifestation those things that you will saying. James says, "Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast a great theme, see how much would or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze ! And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depriving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth [the cycle of man's nature], being itself ignited by hell (Gahanna). (James 3:5-6).
