ABRAHAM ACTED AS GOD ACTED ! When there was no hope naturally, Abraham believed in hope. He took God's Word for his hope. He began to say what God said about him. "I am the father of many nations." God had to change his name from Abram to Abraham in order to get him in agreement. God forced him into it by changing his name. He had to say, "My name is Abraham," and Abraham means "father of many nations. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. That was the word of God concerning Abraham: you are the father of nations. But he wasn't the father of nations at that time. But God said he was. What was God doing ? He was calling for it. God told Abraham to say what he said by changing his name from Abram to Abraham. I don't know about you, but I would rather act like God than act like the devil or demons. God's word says, in (1 Corinthians 1: 26-27). "For you see your calling breathren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty, and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yes, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are." But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery him him even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages onto our glory which none of the princes of this age knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit; for the Spirit (of man) searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him ? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receive is not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him ? But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:7-16). My speech and my preaching or not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; that your faith should not rest or stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. And God's Word is His power onto soundness, deliverance, preservation, and healing. Salvation !
