ABRAHAM ACTED AS GOD ACTED ! Where there was no hope, physically, Abraham believed in God. He took God's Word for his hope. He began to say what God said about him. "I am the father of many nations." God forced him into it by changing his name from Abram to Abraham. He had to say, "My name is Abraham," and Abraham meant "father of many nations." Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. That was the Word of God concerning Abraham: "You are the father of nations." But he wasn't the father of nations and that time. But God said he was. What was God doing ? He was calling for it. God, Abraham to say what He said by changing his name from Abram to Abraham. WE HAVING THE SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH OR FEAR ! "For all [these] things are [taking place] for your sake, so that the more grace [divine favor and spiritual blessings] extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more Thanksgiving may increase [and redund] to the glory of God. Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outward man is [progressively] decayed and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively renew day after day. For our light, momentary affliction (the slight distress of the passing hour) is evermore and more abundantly comparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease. Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting) but the thing is that are indivisible are deathless and everlasting." The amplified Bible. (2 Corinthians 4:13- through 18). We have the ability to either operate in faith in God, which is the word of God our fear of the devil in the world, which they are telling you. The choice is yours. You and I, have to choose God's method of thinking and doing. Remember, that faith in God only comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God. And on the other hand, faith in the world are the devil comes the same way. If you do not know what God has said about you in his Word, then I am courage you to get your Bible from up under your bed or off your bookshelf and begin to study to show yourself approved unto God a workman that need not to be a shame rightly divide the Word of God !
