A CONFESSION OF FAITH, NOT FEAR ! Some are trying to operate on the ultimate level of the God kind of faith when they are still on a lower level. Their planting was too small and shallow. The farmer could receive the manifestation of his total needs met when he didn't plant enough seed to produce it. Jesus said the kingdom of God is as if a man casts seed into the ground. It is obvious that he is talking about the incorruptible seed of the Word of God. Casting your seed is a process. The more you sow, the greater the harvest. Confession of God's Word is a process of eliminating the negative in your life and sowing the promises of God. However, it doesn't happen overnight. Some people have died confessing The Word of God. Someone said, "I don't understand why they died. They were confessing the Word." Yes, they died in faith, not in fear. But they were not developed in it to the point where they would receive the harvest. Some were confessing it out of fear. I know one such person who had cancer for two or three years and wouldn't go to a doctor because of fear. The cancer had spread by the time she heard any teaching on the God kind of faith and confession. She started confessing that she was healed. But her faith was not developed. She didn't go to the doctor until it was too late. When she died, someone said, "I don't understand it: she was saying all the right things." But you can be saying the right things and still be in fear. It takes time to develop the God kind of faith. It is hard to build a foundation in a storm. The bottom line is: don't base your faith on the experience of others, but on God's Word. It is written in (1 Corinthians 3:11) "For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." Jesus Is the Word And the Word is with God, and the Word is God ! The amplified Bible says, "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). "In any construction you first must have the foundation. And the Word of God is the foundation for our lives: although there are two foundations, one is the world; the second one Is the Word of God.
