YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY !

YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY: It was not the giants in the land of Canaan who kept The Israelites of old out, but the giants of fear in their hearts, doubt and unbelief: Our text for this lesson, (Mark 11:23), is one I frequently use in teaching on faith, because in it we see the "faith formula" for moving whatever mountain may be present in our lives. Whether your particular mountain is sickness, unsaved loved ones, financial difficulties, our family problem, you can find the solution in this verse of Scripture. (Mark 11:23). "Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea ! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believe that what he says will take place, it will be done for him." The amplified Bible. The last phrase in the King James says, "he shall have whatsoever he saith." In other words, you can have whatever you say you can have. What YOU SAY IS YOUR FAITH SPEAKING. However, you must be highly developed in your language skills. This works in a negative way just as it works in a positive way, as we see in the Old Testament story of the 12 spies who were sent into Canaan to spy out the land. A REPORT OF FEAR WHICH IS AN EVIL REPORT: (Numbers 13:17 through 32). "And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain: and see the land, what is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong all weak, few or many. . . And they returned from searching of the land after 40 days. . . And they told him, and said, we came onto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it flowreth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. . . And Caleb still the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, we be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up An Evil Report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature." Of the 12 spies who went into Canaan to search out the land, only to, Caleb and Joshua, were men of faith and vision. They said, "Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it." How many people do you have around you that has this type of spirit of the God kind of faith. Probably not very many, but it only takes two or more to agree with you ! (Matthew 18:19).
