WORDS TRANSMIT IMAGES : Words are powerful when release out of your mouth because they carry spiritual forces. Jesus said it this way... "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." I think sometimes we miss what He said. "There is spirit life in the words that he speak or there is spirit death in the words that I speak. (Proverbs 18:21) "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." That's why it is important for us to agree with God and his written Words, to say what God says. When we talk about "confession," that is actually what we are talking about: agreeing with God. When we mentioned confession, most people think we are referring to confessing your sins. If we sin, we should confess our sins to God. But here we are talking about agreeing with God. That is the confession of God's Word of promise. Words carry spiritual force. Words transmits fear; words transmit faith. Words transmit your image to others. God's Word transmits God's image to us--- the devil's word transmits the devil's image to us. If I wanted to give someone an image of my truck, I would start describing it. Every word I speak will transmit a clearer image of that truck. Inside of them right now they can see that truck mentally. they can walk around it. That is a mental image. I can describe it in such detail that they could recognize it when they see it, even though they have never seen it with their natural eyes. My words produce an image of that truck inside them. I transmit to them the image with words. Words are powerful transmitters. Words transmit fear images. Words transmit faith images Remember, Paul the apostle said: So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17). That's a truth; it is not the truth--- not the whole truth. When Paul said that in the context, he was talking about faith in God and in His Word. That's the way faith in God's Word comes--- by hearing God's Word. But the opposite of that truth, the reciprocal of that truth, is this: if faith in God comes by hearing the Word of God, then faith in the devil comes by hearing the words of the devil, as well as the world are evil spirits. The opposite of faith is fear. Fear is actually faith in the enemy our adversary the devil and the world. So that's why I say, don't take a truth and make the truth out of it. For if you dogmatically declare that the only way anyone can obtain faith by hearing the Word of God, then you have missed what Paul was saying, because you can have faith in me, or your pastor, or your bishop, and even the Pope by hearing what they have to say. SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH: Faith comes by hearing, whether you are hearing me, hearing the weather forecaster or hearing the news media or what the devil says. Faith comes by hearing. Words spoken transmit a corresponding spirit. The apostle Paul said, We having the same spirit of faith... (2 Corinthians 4:13). You can transmit the spirit of faith with words. That is one reason Jesus said, "the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Jesus was transmitting the spirit of the faith and life that was in Him to you and me through the words He spoke. Then the apostle Paul continues and (Romans 8:2) "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." How did that spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus get in Him? It was transmitted by God's Word. That is why Jesus admonished the disciples, ... Take heed what you hear ... (Mark 4:24). This is very important. People ought to take heed to what they are hearing. You should not continuously sit under the teaching you know is error, because that same spirit is being transmitted; even though you know it is wrong, it will eventually affect you. And you would take that same erroneous teaching and transmit it to someone else. Some people say, "Well, you are to be as smart as an old cow. They eat the hay and spit out the sticks." That sounds good and there is some truth in that. But we had a horse one time that wouldn't eat anything. We called the veterinarian. He opened that horse's mouth, ran his arm down the horses' throat, and pulled out a big stick that was stuck in the horse's throat. Most people just go to church, to hear words, when they have the Word of Good sitting on the shelves in their homes. And many of you won't pick it up until next Sunday. Some people are like that horse. They don't know how to spit out the sticks. The spirit of error is transmitted through words. If you continually sit under the teaching that is wrong, the spirit of error will be transmitted to you. "Take heed to what you hear." You have buildings that they call church on every Coner just about, and many of them are dead having not the Spirit of God in them, in some cases some of them have went to cemetery schools. And the spirit of error is transmitted perpetually throughout the world. Faith is the ability to conceive God's Word!!! The Word of God Has to first be in your mouth and then he gets in your heart, and once it gets in your heart in abundance then it comes back out of mouth. This is what Jesus said, as well as the apostle Paul.
