WORDS OF LIFE !: There is life in every Word of God. In fact, Jesus said it this way: ... "The Words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." (John 6:63). In other words, there is spirit life in every Word of God. Since that is true, there must be spirit death in every word of the devil our adversary. Your words affect your spirit, soul and body. You can speak words of life to your spirit by agreeing with God. You can speak words of death to your soul by agreeing with the devil and the World. Proverbs put it this way: "the spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?" (Proverbs 18:14) the spirit of man, the human spirit, will sustain his weaknesses. One translation says the human spirit will hold off the weaknesses or infirmity. It will work either way. The human spirit, the heart of man, will hold off--- or hold in--- weakness, depending upon what you speak out of your mouth. This is what the word of God says about it. The heart will hold weakness off are hold it in. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, this heaven is not talking about the throne room of God, but it is talking about the principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness that rule and governs this world thought your speech. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. The power of binding and loosening is here on the earth. Binding and loosening are done with faith-filled words are fear-filled words. We speak words: either words of faith or words of fear. Words of faith brings God on the scene with all His ability. Words of fear bringing the devil and evil spirits on the scene and release their ability. Words are important. Just as people learn to use the natural laws, we can learn to operate in spiritual law. Your words are as seeds that our sown. They will produce a harvest just as surely as you plant them. CHECK YOUR SEED BEFORE SOWING: Be careful what you plant. People sometimes pray the wrong things. Have you ever caught yourself praying what the devil said? That's an embarrassing situation. Once while praying, I said, "Lord, my prayer is not working. Things are getting worse." The spirit of God said, "Who told you that?" I thought for a moment and said, "it must have been the devil, because You sure didn't say it in your Word." He said, "No. And I would appreciate it if you would quit telling me what the devil said." Many people that say's they are believers do not realize that the thoughts they have are not necessarily theirs. Sometimes people pray the problem instead of the answer. If you pray the problem in prayer, thinking that you are being honest with God. You are mistaken! Because God already knows about your problem. You then will have more faith in the problem, because faith comes by hearing so stop praying your problem and pray the promise! You can destroy your faith, by your praying when you pray the problem. If you pray, "Now, Lord, you know that John lost his job, and we don't have any money, coming in, and we won't be able to make the car payment, or the house payment, and we are surely going to lose our house by the end of the year because the note is due, and Lord, You know that he can't find a job..." You will get up from that kind of prayer having faith that he can't get a job and that your needs will not be met and that you are going to lose your house at the end of the year. You will feel so pious about praying. But what that prayer did was open the door to the devil and the evil spirits that governs this world. What is the solution to that situation? It is simple---find the Answer in God's Word, then pray the answer. The apostle Paul makes this statement in (Philippians 4: 14 through 19) "Notwithstanding you have well done, that you did communicate with my affliction. Now you Philippians no also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I decided a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from your, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Notice the preacher had a need, and he said no other church communicated our help him: in the preaching of the gospel, but the Philippian body of believers did. Concerning giving and receiving many people think that when they give financial gifts, that they are giving their money to the preacher support his lifestyle. That is further from the truth, a real man of God with the evangelism as he is instructed by the Lord.
