TWO SYSTEMS OF FINANCE ! So, THE LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city (Genesis 11:4 through 8). What God did at Babel went far beyond confusing the tower builder speech patterns. He spoke confusion into their godless way of operating. He put a cap on their ability to imagine and convey to others the pictures in their minds. Yes, the power to speak and the imagination are powerful ! There communication with one another fell apart to the point where they couldn't figure out what to do anymore, so they had to wander away leaving a have built- tower as a monument to their failure. From that day to this, the same thing has happened to every group of ungodly, disobedient people that has tried to use its own human power to create and sustain its earthly kingdom. These groups have been able only to build their towers, cities, nations and economies to a certain point before confusion has set in and things have started to crumble. It has happened before and will happen again. Babel is simply set up to fail. Believers, However, are not. God has delivered us from that ungodly system. However, if you still want to operate by its ungodly strategies; then you will find yourself failing right along with it! Living from paycheck to paycheck, and in debt and broke borrowing money! The problem is, historically, The Church hasn't been altogether persuaded of that. Believers haven't totally trusted The Lord and THE BLESSING, so they've tried to combine God's way with Babel's way. As a result, they've gotten on the wrong financial path. They have become financially disobedient and confused. Confusion creates disorder in the mind. It comes into our lives when we tried to blend the ways of God with the ways of the world, and the result is disaster! (Proverbs 14:12) says it this way: "There is a way which steams right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Confused believers make bad decisions. They do things that seems right and logical in the eyes of the world, without realizing those things cut them off from THE BLESSING and opened the door to the curse in their lives. They listen to their worldly friends say, "Tithe? You can't be wasting your money like that right now. You'd better hang on to it. Don't you know you're about to lose everything?" Man, I'm not giving a preacher my money! The facts is Abraham gave 1/10 of all to Melchizedek who is a Gentile priest on the Most High God. That's why Malachi 3:10- 11 says bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, now the storehouse in those days was a place where they keep the meat, grain, wine, etc. and prove me now here with, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, And Pour You out a Blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will review the devour for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. The tither is the last one to lose his or her job, and if he or she does lose it, God always has a better one waiting somewhere else. Talk about financial security. The tither is the only one who truly has it!
