TRACKING THE BLOODLINE OF THE BLESSING OF THE LORD ! THE BLESSING was his profession (Confession). He worked it all the time and expected it to do the same thing in prison that it did anywhere else. He expected it to remove the curse and bring creating the conditions of Eden wherever he went --- and that's exactly what happened. Even when he was locked up in an Egyptian prison: My Brothers and Sisters, God's WORD should be our confession (Profession): The LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and he gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because The Lord was with him; and whatever he did, The Lord made it prosper (versus 21-23). Joseph has never been a prison warden. He'd never been in charge of criminals. But, just as it had in Potiphar's house, THE BLESSING gave him the wisdom he needed. It taught him to make even a prison prosper. THE BLESSING is doing the same thing today. I've heard of it in a prison in Louisiana that at one time, was the meanest penitentiary in the nation. People called it "American's Devil island." The only warden who has lasted more than five years in the prison's 100 year history, is a born again Christian. It this writing, he's being the warden therefore 15 years. The reason for his longevity is he pastors that prison instead of just being watered over it. The last I heard, 2500 of the 5200 inmates are born again. The 18,000 acres of prison grounds produces the finest crops and livestock around. Because our prospering. He feels our prospering. The inmates produce all their own food and build on their own building. They don't need outside assistance. They don't even have two call in contractors or electricians. They have their own ! While I was ministering, they were having a craft show and radio. The warden told me they made 250,000 from the crowd show. In the past few years, the prison has build new buildings with their own money. They even have four churches there. From any cell window in any cellblock in the prison, you can see a church steeple. They have a closed-circuit radio stations throughout the prison that makes gospel preaching and gospel music available all the time. They even have a Bible seminary there. When the first group of 82 students graduated, the warden thought, what am I going to do with attitude preachers in this prison ? Then The Lord showed him. He said, saying those preachers out to buy to as missionary other units. Today, those prison preachers are out evangelizing the penitentiaries of Louisiana. While preparing to minister at that prison, the preacher said he was marveling at what God has done there and the Lord spoke to him about it. He said, "if everyone in this penitentiary realized that by receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior they could have THE BLESSING of Abraham, it could turn this prison into a garden of Eden because that's what THE BLESSING does. It will turn hell on earth into heaven on earth. It will do it in a household, in a business, a university or a church building. If everyone in this prison would live by faith in THE BLESSING, there will be people trying to get in instead of trying to get out. After walking around the place, he said he found it easy to believe. Already, we just have the inmates born again, the peace of God is on that person. Everywhere I went, people were getting along. Even on death row (or "life row," as some of the inmates called it) . FROM PRISONER TO PRIME MINISTER...OVERNIGHT ! That's the kind of thing that was going on in the prison where Joseph was warden. The anointing on him he just kept working, making things better. In the course of time, two of Pharaoh's servants ended up there----a butler and a baker, both had a dream, each man's dream in one night and each man's dream with its own interpretation."
