The Seed is A Necessity !

THE SEED IS A NECESSITY: Many times, people think it's going to happen just because they say it. However, saying it is involved in planning it. But it won't necessarily happen just because you say it. I want you to get this point, because many people get hold of (Mark 11:23-24) and runoff into left field and make a mess of things. It won't work just because you say it. But saying it is involved in working it based upon the promises of God's Word. It's like saying to a form about forming. "You won't necessarily have a harvest just because you plant seed. But you will never have a harvest if you don't plant the seeds. We get criticized for teaching people to confess The Word of God and say what God said. Some people say, "confessing God's Word: That is just too mechanical." But we're talking about planting seeds for a harvest. When you're talking about the power of words, you're talking about the power of seeds. It is life in that seed the former plants which causes the manifestation of the very thing he or she planted. There Is Life in God's Words--- in the promise itself. It is the life of God breathed into it. God's Word is incorruptible seed (1 Peter1:23). So, what are you going to use for seed if you don't use God's Word? God's promises are seeds for a harvest. Let's, look again at (2 Peter 1:2--4) "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus, our Lord, According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertains unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue; by which are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises, notice this: THAT By THESE YOU MIGHT BE PARTAKERS of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." I want you to notice the phrase "that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature". Most people think that they are automatically partakers of the divine nature, no, you and I have to choose to be through the Lordship of Jesus Christ's. Look at verse one "to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior, Jesus Christ's: it has to be an act of the will, it doesn't happen just because it's in the Bible, it doesn't just drop off of a peach tree like ripe peaches in your life. Jesus said speak to your mountain or your storms of life, so what are you going to say! I'm going to say it again; you have to choose every day to be a partaker not just on your Sunday Which is meant for Sun worship. I have heard people say, "those people who confess God's Word are saying the promises of God over and over are just trying to act like God!" What child would not imitate their parents? Yes! That's exactly what we are doing: acting as God would act in a similar situation. We know how God would act in a bad situation because of what He did in (Genesis 1:3). He saw darkness over the face of the deep, And He said, "Light!" What did He do? He spoke the thing desired. That's right, that was God. But in Genesis, God also said: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." (Genesis 1:26). Now, who do you suppose people are acting like that has the Fallen Nature, which is the nature of Lucifer, the devil. That's why you must be born again! Of the nature of God, the divine nature. Now, how was man going to have dominion in a fallen state? Oh, I know that we all were born in sin and shaped in iniquity from our mother's womb we came into this world inhabiting Lucifer and the devil's demon's nature: again, that's why you must confess Jesus Christ as your Lord. That confession breaks the power of demons and Lucifer's power over you. Not just confess all your sins you could never remember everything you've done wrong. Again, how was man going to have dominion? You can understand how Adam could run the jackrabbits out of the cabbage patch, but what was he going to do when the elephant began tromping down the cabbage? God said for him to subdue it. He was to do it the same way God did--- with the power of faith filled words. He was to subdue the earth, and he was to do it God's way. When he saw something that he didn't like, it was his responsibility not God's to change it. He was to change it the way God changed things--- speaking faith filled words...Words of authority and power. "What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you received them, and you shall have them." (Mark 11:24) in other words, pray the desire not your problem: don't pray the thing that you don't desire. Speak the things you desired, even when you pray.
