The Secrets of Developing a Strong soul ! The preparation for developing a strong soul is in the prayer that is found in (Ephesians 3:14 through 20). It Is talking about your soul. The Apostle Paul begins the prayer for the believers "For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, form whom every family in heaven and on the earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; (that inner man he is referring to is your soul; so that Christ may dwell in your heart [soul] through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend, with all the Saints, what is the breadth and length, and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever Amen. Look at verse 18: "maybe able to comprehend with all the saints, well we comprehend with our minds, what is the breath, and length, and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. To Know is the Greek word, Ginosko to learn to know, come to know, get a knowledge of, to preceive ,to feel. You have to deal with the soul, mind, will and emotions your thinker ! It did not get Born again: when the spirit of man was born again. You have to train the soul in The Word of God. Now verse 20 is dealing with soul training: "now unto him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us. Beloved The Word of God is the power of God that is supposed to be at work in us (Romans 1:16) and (Hebrews 4: 12), says "For the word of God is quick, and powerful , and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." We need a living Word: that's what quick means. First the Preparation, secondly the operation is something that you have to do yourself with the help of the Holy Spirit. Now, Hebrews 4:12 has to do with the operation on your soul, emotions, your will your imagination, and your thinker which is the makeup of the soul. The soul Has to be operated on With the Word of God. God's Word is a live. Now, go to John 6:63 "It is The Spirit that quickens: the flash profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." In Mark 12: 28 through 31. "And one of the scribe came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all ? And Jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord, and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." The Lord wants to resurrect your soul on a daily basis, so that you may properly be in a full flow in His Spirit, your soul has been blocking your prayer , your soul has been blocking your praise; your soul with the help of the Satan and demons have been blocking your finances . and your are going to have to train it! Now go back to (Hebrews 4: 12) look at the last statement in that verse "and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." What is another word for heart [soul],he is now talking about the soul, not the innermost being of man. (Psalms 139: 14) "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are thy works, and that my soul knows right well ." So my brothers and sisters you are going to have to discern your thoughts, discern your feelings, where are they coming from? Your soul ! and so you soul is made up of your imagination, your emotions, your will and intellect. The apostle Paul prays another prayer for the believers in (1 Thessalonian 5: 23) "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Again we must follow the instruction that are in (Romans chapter 12: verse 1 through 3). And The Apostle Peter writes, in (1 Peter 1: 22-23) "Seeing that you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfegned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart (soul) fervently, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by The Word of God, which lives and abides forever. For all flesh is like grass, and all the glory of man like the flower of grass. The grass witheres, and it's our falls away, But the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
