THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD : He quoted the first context to magnify his positive statement. No, we are not as she led to the slaughter. That is talking about Jesus and his crucifixion. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. We are conquerors through Jesus the Word of God. One who is more than a conqueror is one who enjoys the victory, over sin, spiritual death, and poverty. But doesn't have to fight the battle. Jesus won it for us. Thank God, everything He did, He did for us ! Sometimes when we talk like this, people will say, "who does he think he is ?" Well, I think I am who the Word says I am: the righteousness of God, a joint-heir with Jesus, a world overcomer, more than a conqueror ! Someone else might say, "But The Word says, "There is none righteous, no not one." That is true. There is none righteous within himself. But, thank God, I am not in myself. I am in Christ Jesus. Man's righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God. I am not declaring my own righteousness. I am declaring His righteousness (Romans 3:25-26). I do not see myself in this position of authority because of my own righteousness but because of His. The apostle Paul said, "AWake to righteousness, and sin not (1 Corinthians 15:34). REDEEMED THAT The BLESSINGS MIGHT COME: one of the problems with many religious people is that they try to do good things to merit favor with God. We are living under grace, not the Law. If you try to do good works to build up credit with God, the Word says you put yourself under the curse of the Law. "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse (Galatians 3:10). To be under the curse of the Law means to be subject to the curses, which are poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law that the blessings of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:13-15). I am a child of God an heir with Jesus. Abraham's blessings are mine: The Word says he was blessed coming in and blessed going out, blessed in the city and blessed in the field. He was blessed all over more than anywhere else ! We need to realize that when we were redeemed from the curse of the Law, we were not redeemed from the blessings. They belong to us. If you have been born again, Abraham's blessings are your. We are the redeemed--- not going to be someday, we are now ! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Psalms 107:2). Some might ask, "Why do we still get sick if we are redeemed from the curse of the Law ?" Let me ask you another question: Jesus redeemed the world from sin, didn't He ? Then why do for still sin ? They are redeemed from sin, yet they go on sinning. You see, you can do it if you want to. Just because we are redeemed from the curse of the Law doesn't mean that no one will ever sin or be sick again. Redemption is yours, but you must walk in it. The apostle Paul said, "Sin shall not have dominion over." And you are not the physical body, but a spirit that lives in the body and possesses a soul. It shouldn't have, but it is up to you. You must modify (change) the deeds of your flesh. And the only way you can change or modify the deeds of the flesh is through the Word of God. Just as the children of Israel had to go in and possess the land that God had given to them, we must use our authority to command sickness and sin to stay out of our lives. We have been redeemed from the curse of the Law, but we must go in and possess that which is already ours. Redemption is our land. "If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).
