THE LORD AND HIGH PRIEST OF THE BLESSING ! Remember that the next time the devil tries to rod you of your confidence before God by reminding you of some sin you've already repented of. Don't let him trap you with that. When he starts accusing you of being a sinner, don't just tell him your sin is forgiven and covered by the blood. It's also covered ! It's been wiped out, eradicated and completely obliterated, so open your mouth with boldness and tell the Deborah exactly that. Tell him that old sin even the old man doesn't exist anymore. It's 100% gone. It's been dealt with once and for all by your intercessor who has the stored your sin and giving you THE BLESSING. "I don't know, Brother Lewis. I think I'd feel silly saying things like that." It doesn't matter whether you feel silly or not, you need to say them because your words of faith are what activate Jesus ministry as High Priest in your life. He is, quite literally, the Apostle And High Priest of your profession (confession). The word profession can also be translated confession. The Greek word means, "to say the same thing." That word is used in connection with Jesus high priestly ministry because when we say the same thing God says, speaking in line with THE BLESSING, our High Priest backs up our words. He sees to it that they come to pass. The same thing is true of the devil, he is trying to get you to say things that are not written in the word; so he can bring them to pass in your life. If we said nothing at all, or if we make confessions contrary to God's WORD, we give Him nothing to administer. That's why it doesn't do any good to cry, "Oh, Jesus ! Don't you know how sick I am ? Don't you know how much I'm hurting ? Won't You just come and put Your hand on my fevered brow ?" We're not partaking of Jesus high priestly ministry will we say those kinds of things. He's not a party to bring to pass confessions like, "I'm sick," "I am hurting" or "I have a fever." Those conditions are part of the curse, and Jesus has done all He is going to do about the curse. He bore every bit of it for us on the Cross and defeated it completely through His death and resurrection. He has already delivered us from it. What He stands ready to do now as our High priest That is in force THE BLESSING in our lives, and He does that in response to our confession of faith. Your profession, is your confession (Proverbs 18:21); "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." When we declare THE BLESSING, He backs us up. When we say, "Praise God, I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. I am free from the curse of sickness. Every cell of my body is BLESSED !" He administers all the divine powers necessary to make those confessions (which are already true in the realm of the spirit) a reality in this natural world.
