THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN YOU ! "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree; That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14). The message Bible: "Christ redeemed us from that self defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the Cross: he became a curse, and it the same time dissolved the curse. And now, because of that, the error is cleared and we can see that Abraham's blessing is presented and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God's life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing--- just the way Abraham received it." Verse 26 through 29 of Galatians). "For you are all the [sons] of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. In other words as many of you that have been baptized in Christ: have been baptized in the Anointed One. The apostles concern for the church it Colossians 1:24 ). The church a "mystery" hidden from past ages. "In writing to the church in (Colossians 1:) "Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church, Of which I made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, even the mystery which had been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints, to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory; whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we might present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." Now, The Message Bible reads: "I want you to know how glad I did that it's me sitting here in this jail and not you. That is a lot of suffering to be entered into in this world--- the kind of suffering Christ takes on. I welcome the chance to take my share in the churche's part of that suffering. When I became a servant in this church, I experienced this suffering as a sheer gift, God's way of helping me serve you, laying out the whole truth. This ministry has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it's out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The ministry in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, therefore you can look forward to sharing in God's glory. It's that simple. That is the substance of our message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ ! No more, no less. That's what I am working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so graciously gave me."
