THE HEART OF MAN : The heart of man is an eternal spirit, Werther he or she is saved or not. Because, God has breathed into the nostril of the first man Adam, he became a living soul. In other words, he became conscience of their very presence of God. However, because of his choice to partake in the forbidden fruit of that garden with the woman Eve they died. God told Adam in the day that they eat there of of the fruit of the tree, that they would die. So it was that the fallen nature of the first man Adam was passed on to the human race. "There was a man of the Pharisee, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles that thou dost, except God be with him. Jesus answered, and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him (Jesus), How can a man be born when he is old ? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born ? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water And of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh: allow me to paraphrase, that which is born of the fallen nature, is of that nature; And That Which Is Born of the Spirit: allow me to paraphrase, that which is born of the nature of God is re-created or reborn Of the Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee you must be born again." The wind bloweth where it willeth, and thou hearest the sound of it, but cannot tell from where it cometh, and where it goeth; so is everyone that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered, and Said unto Him, How can these things be ? Some false cults bring out that in Genesis, in the Hebrew language, the word of God speaks of the souls of animals. They said that since animals have no soul as we do, then when we die we are dead as a dog is dead. And they interpret all scriptures from the natural view. And it is true that animals have souls--- but they are not spirits ! In Christendom we have not defined these terms as we should have. There is nothing in animals which is like God. God took Something of Himself and put it into man. He made the body of man out of the dust of the earth; but He breathed into man's nostrils the breath of life. The word translated "breath" and the passage concerning man's creation, is the Hebrew word Ruash. Ruash means "breath" or "spirit," and it is translated "Holy Spirit" many times in the Old Testament. God is a Spirit, so He took something of Himself, which he is spirit, and put it into man. When He did, man became a living soul. He wasn't alive until then. But he became a living soul--- he became conscience of himself. Animals have souls, for the soul possesses intellectual and emotional qualities, and animals have these. However, in animals, it is all physical, and when the physical is dead, all is gone. Man's soul--- his intellectual and emotional qualities is not based upon the physical, but upon the spiritual or the spirit. And when the body is dead, the spirit of mankind with its soul still exists.
