THE HEAD AND THE BODY ARE ONE ! If you think THE BLESSING could never operate that strongly through you, let me remind you that as the seed of Abraham, you are scripturally qualified to be a BLESSING to the whole world. You are a joint heir with Jesus. Everything He is and possesses belongs to you, including His Name. The name of Jesus is written up on the Angels of heaven; we as born again believers have the name of Jesus in us ! As His representatives on the earth, you have His authority. He has made you lord over Satan, sickness and poverty. He has given you power over those things and told you to go and get rid of them by destroying the works of Satan in your life, and the lives of others who are willing to be delivered. Though your physical body is still on the earth, spiritually, you've been risen up together and made to sit together in heavenly places in Him: for above all principalities, and power, and not, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all" (Ephesians 1:21-23). Notice, you're not just barely above the devil and all his devices, you are far above him. You are to remind him of that now and then. Remind him of what happened At the Cross. Remind him that you're a joint heir with Jesus. Rattle your sword a little. The devil will flee from you just as he does from Jesus because you are part of His Body-- which is the Church--- and the Head and the body are one. That's so important ! The Head and the Body are one ! In what is called church, people have a hard time believing that, but on the street, everyone knows it's true. When I walked into a room, no one says, "here comes Brother Lewis and his body." That would be silly. My head isn't the only thing that's included in my name. I'm Bobby Lewis from head to feet. Without my body, I can't do anything. The same is true for Jesus. He can't do anything on earth without us because we are His representatives here. We are His fullness, appointed by God to rule in His Name with holiness, goodness, and the love of Almighty God that's being shade in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. In practical terms, that means if you're a mother or a father, you don't have to put up with sickness on your children or even in your own body. When the devil attacks them or you with it, you can stand it there bedsides and say, "Satan, I command you in the Name of Jesus and by the power of the eternal, Almighty God to get your filthy hands off my children and my body. I am the seed of Abraham. My children are the seed of Abraham and they are, and I BLESSED--- spirit, soul and body." You can lay your hands on your children as well as yourself and say, "Jesus, my children and me are in Your care. You're THE LORD and High Priest of this household, and You are The Healer. By faith, I loose Your healing power now in the body of these little ones as well as for myself. I called them healed as well as me." You don't have to cry baby for Jesus to come down from heaven and touch you or your children. You don't have to cry and moan and say things like, "Oh, Lord, if you'll just let the hymn of Your garment brush over my babies, I know they're be healed." Or "if it be your will Lord, healed them or me." It's understandable for believers who have no idea who they are in Christ, or what happened to them when they were born again, to pray that way. They don't know any better. Because no one has taught them anything different and, for the most part many believers are fighting against faith instead of fighting the good fight of faith ! They assume they're in the same position as the woman in the New Testament who had the issue of blood and receive healing by touching Jesus clothes. They identify with the hungry multitudes who sat by the Sea of Galilee and ate the loaves and fish that Jesus multiplied. But that's not what we want to be doing. As Jesus disciples, we should be identifying with Him. Not with the world ! When we read those New Testament stories, we should see ourselves doing His works. Rather than seeing ourselves as the people in need, we should see ourselves as the ones who meet those needs because we have inherited Jesus ministry. We are now the seed of Abraham carry THE BLESSING .
