THE GOD KIND OF FAITH KNOWS THE ANSWER: (Proverbs 4:20-22) The first two verses of this passage tells us the directions for taking this medicine. What are these directions ? ["Attend to, Or Studying God's Word, and "keep them in the midst of thine heart." Or obey this Word]. How do we keep the words in the midst of our hearts ? King David says, "My heart is overflowing with a good matter; I speak of the things which I have made touching the king. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer." And what is God's medicine ? "My words are life unto those that find them, and medicine to all their flesh." But the medicine has to be taken according to directions in order to work. And one of these directions is, "Let Them [my words] not depart from thine eyes." Keep Looking at What the Word Says. Too many people who are believers, or Christians pray and pray, but they never see themselves with the answer. They just see everything getting worse. They keep looking at the wrong thing--- at the symptoms, and conditions, and circumstances, at themselves -- and so they walk in unbelief and destroying the effects of their praying. Get your mind on the answer, in fact renew your mind to the answer. See yourself as having received. Constantly affirm, even in the face of contradictory evidence, that God has heard your prayer because the Word says so. And if your prayer is based upon the promise of God's Word, That's when you'll get results. You have to believe you've got it. Before you can receive it. "What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them" (Mark 11:24). The believing comes before the receiving. There are those who say, "I'm not going to believe anything I can't see." That is because they do not have the God kind of faith, and because they are still operating in the humanistic natural faith. But in the natural we believe a lot of things we can't see. The whole world becomes alarmed when atomic bombs were being exploded, releasing radioactivity materials into the atmosphere. You can't see it or feel it, but it is a destructive power nevertheless. Don't think that you can get the God kind of faith overnight ! It takes time to develop your self in this kind of faith. We did not come into the world fully grown, the enemy and the world has had plenty of time to develop us in the things of the world and of the devil. If you want to be free from the Satan and the fallen ones. You must confess Jesus as Lord, and get into the Word of God and develop and renew your mind to the things of God. No I didn't say find you a church home; because your body is the temple in which God desires to dwell in !
