The God-Kind Of Faith ! ! !

THE GOD-KIND OF FAITH: When sinners are saved and are asked, "when were you saved ? They often answer by saying something like, "about nine on 9 July 10." They are mistaken, however, because God save them nearly 6000 years ago. It became a reality to them only when they believed it and confessed it. Salvation belongs to everyone. Every man and woman in this world as a legal right to salvation. Jesus died for the whole world, not just for you and me. Unfortunately the whole world will not receive this gift. When the truth is preached to the sinners, it causes faith to come. When he or she believes and confesses the Lord Jesus or Jesus is Lord, he or she creates the reality of it in his or her own life by their measure of faith. (Romans 10:13 through 17) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they called on him in the have not believed ? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard ? And how shall they hear without a preacher ? So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Now let me interject something else here, many people are taught to call upon the name Jesus and that is partly true however, when you study the Scriptures and follow God's method and understand what he is saying. Then you would understand that he is saying called upon His Word. (Matthew 10:32-33) "Whosoever, therefore, shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father who is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven." (Luke 12:8) "Also I say unto you, whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of Man also confess before the angels of God; but he that deny me before men shall be denied before the angels of God." Now, look it these two verses of Scripture, they are talking about confession and calling on the name of God method is to call those things as though they were not as though they were ! (Romans 4:17) "As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed, our father [speaking about Abraham] in the sight of God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed." The amplified Bible. Faith for salvation comes by hearing the Word of God. Faith for anything we receive from God comes in the same way. The God kind of faith comes by hearing God's Word and calling upon the Word of God. And God has no kind of faith other than the God kind. In other words, God gives OR causes the God kind of faith to come into the hearts of those who hear ! It is no wonder then that Jesus said, "Take heed therefore how you hear" (Luke 8:18). You cannot let it go in one ear and out the other, because that won't do any good. Faith won't come. If you act as if the word of God were some fairytale, faith will not come. But when you accept it reverently and sincerely, and getting in your mouth and in your heart, and act upon it, faith comes.
