The GOD-KIND OF FAITH ! ! !

THE GOD-KIND OF FAITH : In the record concerning Peter, and Cornelius. Peter says we are [eye and ear] witnesses of everything that He [Jesus] did both and the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. And [yet] they put Him Out of the way [murdered Him] by hanging Him on a tree; But God raised Him to live on the third day and cause Him to be manifest [to be plainly seen], Not by all the people but to us who were chosen [designed] before hand by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Him After He arose from the dead. And He charged us to preach to the people and to bear solemn testimony that He is the God appointed and God ordained judge of the living and the dead. Now, beginning at verse 34, Peter opens his mouth and said of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of person; but in every nation he that fear him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ he is Lord of all." He is either Lord of all of your life or Lord not at all ! Many people has the idea that because they attend some assembly that they are Christian or believers. Many have disassociated Jesus Christ's from the Word. John, in fact said that "the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God the same was in the beginning with God." (John 1:1) Now To Him all the prophets testify [bear witness] that everyone who believes in Him [who adheres to, trust in, and relies on Him, Him who ? The Word giving himself up to Him] receives forgiveness of sins through His name. While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all who were listening to the message. And the believers from among the circumcised [the Jews] or the Israelites who came with Peter were surprised and amazed, because the free gifts of the Holy Spirit had been bestowed and poured out largely even on the Gentiles. Verse 46, says "they heard them talk in [unknown] tongues [languages] and extolling and magnifying God. Then Peter asked, can anyone forbid or refuse water for baptizing these people, saying that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we have ? And he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ [the Messiah]. Then they begged him to stay on there for some days." In your traditional establishments that you call church, these men and women are not following the doctrine of Christ Jesus. The people having itching ears, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders [hypocrites] ! For you travel over sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes one [a proselyte], you make him doubly as much a child of hell [Gahanna] as you are." (Matthew 23:15). Now the apostles [special messengers] and the brethren who were throughout Judea heard [with astonishment] that the Gentiles [heathens] also had received and accepted And Welcomed the Word of God [the doctrine concerning the attainment through Christ of salvation in the kingdom of God]." Confessing Jesus as Lord, means to confess constantly the Word of promise over your lives daily. No this is not something you just do on Sunday or when you feel like it. It must be consistently every day in order for you to gain the victory that you need in your life. Faith in God "comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God. "(Romans 10:17).
