THE GOD-KIND OF FAITH : "On the day following, when they had come away from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing in the distance a fig tree [covered with leaves, He went to see if He could find any [fruit] on it [put in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves]. But when He came up to it, He found nothing but leaves, for the fig season had not yet come. And He said to it, no one ever again shall eat fruit from you. And His disciples were listening [To What He said]. (v.20) In the morning, when they were passing along, they noticed that the fig tree was withered [completely] a way to its roots. And Peter remembered and said to Him, Master, look ! The fig tree which you doomed has withered away ! And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]." (Mark 11:12 -14; 20-22) .The amplified Bible. Let us focus our attention on the statement, "Have Faith In God" (v. 22) or, as the margin reads, "Have the faith of God." I shall continue with writing your ticket with God, concerning Peter and the actions of Cornelius in (Acts 10:1 through 22). Greek scholars tell us this could have been translated, "Have The God-Kind of faith." Jesus demonstrated that He had the "God- kind of faith." From after He sound that the fig tree had leaves, and He approached it looking for fruit. Some have question why Jesus looked for figs on this tree when it was not time for them to be ripe. However, in that country those trees which retain their leaves usually also had figs. Finding no fruit on the trees, Jesus spoke to it, that's right, he spoke to and inanimate object, saying, "No man eat fruit of thee here after forever." The next day when Jesus and His disciples passed my again, they found the tree dried up from the roots. Peter said, "Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away," which Brown this amazing and startling statement from the lips of Jesus: "Have Faith In God [having the faith of God, or the God kind of faith]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea ! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him." (Mark 11:22-23). After telling his disciples in verse 22 to have the God kind of faith, Jesus went on to define and describe for us what it is. The God kind of faith is the kind of faith in which a man or woman: (1) believe in his or her heart, and (2) says with his or her mouth what he or she believes in their heart, (3) it comes to pass. Jesus Showed That He had that kind of faith, for He believed that what He said would come to pass. He said to the tree and in animate object, "No man eat fruit the hereafter for ever." This is the kind of faith that spoke the world's into existence !
