THE BLESSING OF THE LORD, YOKE-DESTROYING,BURDEN-REMOVING POWER ! It's no wonder Jesus laid aside the power of His divinity when He came to earth. He didn't come to demonstrate His power as God's Son. He came to demonstrate this power as the Son of man. He came to release and restore the power of THE BLESSING. If His purpose has been to prove His divinity, He would have worked miracles as a child. He was just as much the Son of God at 4 years old as He was at 30. But the Bible makes it clear that He didn't work a single miracle until after the Holy Spirit came on Him during His baptism in the Jordan River. At that moment, Jesus stepped into the full power of THE BLESSING: And, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: and lo a voice from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased " (Matthew 3:16-17). When Satan heard those words, the fight was on. He knew exactly who he was facing. He knew the baby born three decades earlier in Bethlehem had grown into the One with the power to bring him down. He responded right away by following Jesus into the wilderness and bombarding Him with temptations. But Jesus overcame everyone of them with the powerful words, "It is written...." That means, that when Jesus used what is written; He only use what he heard the Father said, so should you also ! Returning in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, He showed up at the synagogue in Nazareth and made the announcement that turned the religious world upside down: "The Spirit of The Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of THE LORD" (Luke 4:18-19). I see in those statements, the five fold ministry of Jesus ! Notice, Jesus didn't proclaim He was the divine Son of God. He announced that He was anointed. Because THE WORD anointed isn't used in ordinary speech today, most people don't know what it means. But the definition is simple: "to smear on, roll up into or pour all over." In a spiritual sense, a person who is anointed is one who has the power of God on him or her; Because of the Holy Spirit and the practices of a consecrated dedicated lifestyle to God the Father (Romans 12: 1- 2). In Jesus day, people understood that, so they knew He was telling them that the Holy Spirit had come on Him to undo what the devil had done in the Garden of Eden. God had poured out on Him the same power the first Adam had been given--- the power to create the conditions of the Garden wherever he went. "Well –, I don't see how you come up with that," someone might say. "There's nothing about the Garden of Eden in those verses." The exact words may not be there, but let me ask you this: were any of the evil things Jesus said He was anointed to over come present in the Garden of Eden ? Was any poverty, sickness, broken-heartedness, blindness or bondage of any kind there ? Certainly not ! So, When Jesus Declared That the Spirit of THE LORD was upon Him to empower Him to get rid of such things, He was saying, in essence, "I've come to bring back the Garden." That's what the anointing does ! It removes the burdens and destroys the yolks of the enemy. It get rid of every work of the devil and brings God's will to pass on earth as it is in heaven. Since God's will is and always has been THE BLESSING, you might say that the anointing is THE BLESSING on the move. And when Jesus came on the scene, THE BLESSING moved as never before ! Because He perfectly Kept the commandments (The orders of God), it flowed through Him without hindrance. In time past, that had been impossible. Although THE BLESSING could come on Old Testament saints like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, it couldn't flowed from within them because their spirits were contaminated by sin. They hadn't been born again. Jesus, however, was different. His spirit was pure, so THE BLESSING moved through Him from the inside out. That's why He could say, ".... The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." Today we have people that have went to school to become preachers, but none of them were sent. If I started a church today, and did the mathematical, I know how much money will be coming in. This is why people want to get into the ministry; with no anointing there will be no yoke destroying, burden removing power of God ! No super on the natural. THE BLESSING had such free course in Jesus that it could pour through him in full force without any kind of reserve or measure. So everywhere He went, He brought the Garden of Eden with Him. A truly bondservant of Jesus Christ, is not going to charge you for a miracle or for anything that is pertaining to the kingdom of God. The Scripture says, that as we receive freely then we are to give it freely; revelation knowledge doesn't cost you anything and how you implement this knowledge in the lives of individuals as well as your personal life will greatly increase, but not without the coming out of the world as God has told us through the miles of the apostles and prophets. We must die to the flesh in order to live unto God. We have a choice in whom we will serve, as for me and my house I choose to serve Jesus Christ along.
