THE BLESSING OF THE LORD IT !

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD IT ! How can I be sure of that ? Because I learned from THE WORD OF GOD and experience that you can't fight thoughts with thoughts. It doesn't work. The only way to overcome thoughts is with God's Words. Negative thoughts have no defense against faith filled words. Your words are so powerful that, according to Jesus, you'll either be justified or condemned by them; and you'll have to give an account for them on the Day of Judgment. That's how serious they are to God, and it should be serious to you. I'll never forget a particular situation when I begin to see the kind of life- or - death, BLESSING - or - cursing kind of power I can release through my words. It was in the very early days of this ministry when finances were a daily challenge, and I was pacing the floor, crying out to God about it. "Lord, I've hit the wall here. I have no funds with which to continue what You've told me to do. I can see in THE WORD OF GOD that You said You'd supply my needs, but I need Your wisdom about receiving that supply because I don't know what to do." The minute I said that, the word of the Lord came to me: Did you ever notice that My pattern throughout history has been that when My people cry out to me for something, I don't just drop it down out of heaven ? I called and appoint a man to minister to them on My behalf. When My people called out to me in Egypt, I sent Moses. When My people cried out to me to deliver them from the oppression of their enemies in the Promised Land, I sent people like Gideon and Barak and Samson. That pattern continued all the way up to and including Jesus. Now, He is your Man. I jumped up and said, " Oh, Hallelujah ! That must mean You have a man somewhere who is going to help me financially. So I'm calling on him to come." No, says the Lord, that's not what I'm saying. I'm not telling you there is a man; I'm asking you to be that man. I'm asking you to place your self in the position of being BLESSED and prospered so that you can go and minister the BLESSING to those who are calling out to Me. "How on earth am I supposed to put myself in that position ? I asked. He answered by leading me to (Romans 10:8), "THE WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart..." You don't need a man to come from somewhere else to meet your needs, He said. What you need is right there in MY WORD, and it's so close to you that it's in your Mouth and in your Heart. A few days later, someone handed me a little book written by John Osteen entitled, There's a miracle in your mouth. Coupled with what God has just said to me, that title hit me like a freight train. I never gotten over it and never want to ! I have known from that day that my miracle is right here in my own mouth. I don't have two look anywhere else for it. I don't have to ask people for donations. It's not out there in someone else. It's not in someone else's bank account. It's right here in THE WORD OF GOD, and if I'll put that WORD in my MOUTH and speak it with my mouth, it will produce for me just as surely as it produced for God Himself when He said, "LIGHT BE !"
