THE BLESSING OF THE LORD AND THE KINGDOM ! THE GREAT DECEPTION ! To understand what the devil had in mind when he devised his plan, you have to remember that when God declared THE BLESSING over Adam on the day he was created, everyone and everything in the universe witnessed the event. Not only did Adam and the ministering spirits hear THE BLESSING, but the devil or Lucifer heard it too. When he and they did, it must have infrustrated him Lucifer. He couldn't stand the fact that the God--like power he so desperately wanted for himself has been freely bestowed on man, Adam. He refused to just stand by and watch while the crown of glory, authority and power he had once dreamed of wearing--- the crown he had thought and lost everything to gain----blazed in all its divine beauty on this creature called man. The question was: what could he do about it ? He was smart enough to know he couldn't overthrow this newly created God--like race. He'd learned that lesson the hard way. He'd already tried to break out of the angelic class in which he was created and make himself like God, and it hadn't worked. He'd ended up an angel, still----but a fallen one with no authority over anything except what the man and the woman will give him ! Separated from God, a twisted version of his former self, all the spiritual forces within him had been corrupted. The light of God for which he was named has become darkness. Love had turned to hate, faith has become fear. Since his outright attack on heaven hadn't worked, this time the devil are Lucifer decided to try a different tactic. He'd use deception to turn things his way. He'd try to convince the man and woman that God didn't really have their best interests at heart, and He couldn't be trusted. He will deceive them into committing high treason and switching their loyalty to him. Then, he will because there are spiritual head, and all the power, glory and authority God has given them will be under his command. By hijacking the dominion God has already delivered into man's hands, Satan could, at least, become the god of the world system of all the earth. In part, it was a workable plan, and the Lucifer knew it. He knew that God, who never breaks His WORD, would not, under any circumstances, revoke the authority He has delegated to mankind. He also reasoned that since God has already given Adam the earth and everything in it, if Adam rebelled, God would be called in a quandary. He couldn't go back to the drawing board and create any of the man from the dust of the earth without taking back what He has given. Bound by His own integrity, God would find Himself on the other side, looking in. Proud, no doubt, of the brilliance of his plan, Satan set his scheme in motion by gaining possession of a serpent--- one of the animals of the field that Adam had named. Keep in mind that it the time, a serpent wasn't a bad thing. The name wasn't a simple of evil as it is now. Back then, serpent was a wonderful name for a beautiful animal that God has created. The serpent was a delightful creature both God and Adam love. That poor serpent didn't know anything about protecting himself. Adam and his wife were his protectors. In characteristics fashion, however, the devil didn't present himself to them and ask permission. He went straight to the serpent and did the same thing he always does. He conned and exploited him, knowing full well he was about to destroy this animal's future forever. The devil is used that beautiful creature, ruined him, and then through him on things like a piece of trash. He left him crawling on his belly in the dirt, with a brain less than the size of a walnut, doomed to be despaired by mankind all the days of his life. That has always been Lucifer's mode of operation since he was kicked out of heaven. He does the same thing today to anyone who will let him. He is still a con artist who feeds people with his lies and exploits them for his own purposes. He is a filthy, heartless, hell bound, hell field creature, and you are to run him out of your life every time he shows his ugly face.
