THE BLESSING OF THE LORD AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD ! LIVING BELOW THE LIGHT LINE. Once, when I was fellowship with God over those verses, He Said, did you notice I never punished Adam for what he did ? I dealt with the circumstances he and she has created, but I didn't punish them because I'd already put the plan in place to bear their punishment, Myself. I'd never thought of it before, because of what has been traditionally taught. But at that moment I realized that even as Adam and Eve left The Garden, and before the foundation of the world, in God's mind, the words of Isaiah has already been written: "Shirley he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and THE LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:4--6). That's why I can say with certainty that God did not send Adam and Eve out of Eden to punish them. He said them out to protect them--- because if they would have talking of the tree of life, they would have been eternally fixed forever ! And it grieved His heart to do it. Loving them as He did with the unquenchable compassion are a perfect Father, brother than sending them out, he wanted to wrap His arms around them and wipe away their tears. But He could not. Sin has forced a separation between them. The pure and holy fire of his That Gloria would have destroyed the Adam and Eve in their fallen state. It would have burned them to ashes because in the presence of pure light, darkness cannot exist. In the presence of pure life, death and everything associated with it is annihilated. After the Fall, even the molecules of the earth itself--- because they had been contaminated by the curse----couldn't bear up under direct contact with the pure presence of God. That's why, generations later, God had to cover Himself with a cloud when He descended on Mount Sinai to give Moses the commandments. He had to hide Himself to protect the earth and the people from being consumed by His glory. Even with the shield of that cloud around him, when God sat down on the mountain: The smoke that are ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. . . And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mounting smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and still are far off. And they said unto Moses, "Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let's not God speak with us, lest we die." It wasn't that way in the Garden before the Fall, but that's the effect God has on this fallen creation. It started to come apart in His presence. Mount Sinai almost exploded because it couldn't handle the presence of its Creator. Neither could the Israelites. They were so weakened by sin, just the sound of His voice heard them and they ran from Him in fear. It was not God's intention to frighten or harm them, of course. He came to give them His WORD. He came to teach them how to live in such a way, they could reconnect with THE BLESSING. They had no one else to show them how. So, He visited them Himself, wrapped in a cloud. Unlike his fellow Israelites, Moses was frustrated with that cloud. He has such an intense craving to see God face-to-face that he prayed, "I beseech thee, show me thy glory !" It is the same prayer that I prayed many years ago and are Angel appear to me, and said fear not for God has honored your prayer and your request behold the glory of God ! If God has answered that prayer out right, Moses would have been physically destroyed so if God would have answered my prayer out right I would have been physically destroyed. So, God did the next best thing. He said: two Moses, thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. . . Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand up on a rock: and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cliff of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: and I will take away my hand, and I shall see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen (versus 33:20-23).
