THE BLESSING OF THE LORD AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD ! God's commitment to those who are in covenant with him That is much like the commitment of a husband toward his wife. When I married JoAnn, for example I made a covenant with her. I committed before God that I would love and care for her. That doesn't mean I don't love other people. But, if someone comes along and tries to hurt JoAnn, he'll soon find out I don't have the same kind of relationship with him I have with her. He'll find that even though I love him, I will do whatever is necessary to stop him from harming her. If you want to know how far God will go to protect His covenant bloodline, look at the great Flood in (Genesis 6). It killed almost the entire human race and hit the earth for only one reason. Evil has sold increased, it was about to eradicate God's covenant bloodline. For generations, that bloodline has included men who called on the Name of THE LORD like Enoch, who walk so closely with God that he was caught up to heaven. But, as mankind multiplied on the earth, they released so much wickedness that has the planet not being cleansed of it, it would have swallowed up everything righteous person on earth. By the time Noah came along, he and his family (a total of eight people) were the only godly ones left. That's something to think about; eight soul, out of millions of people ! Today, we have many who are compromising their brand of Christianity and are living like the world; and the world is trying to live like the believer: but it won't work: every segment of entertainment every religious service of what is called church is compromising what they say they believe ! And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his or her heart was only evil continually. And it repented THE LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And THE LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of THE LORD (Genesis 6:5-8). Even as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the day of the coming Of the Son Of Man (Jesus). For years, people have interpreted that passage to mean that God regretted creating mankind. But if that were true, He could have gotten rid of them by just leaving them alone, allowing them to continue in their rotten ways and they would have died off completely in a few years. But God couldn't do that. In His compassion, He had already established His dream. He has decided to have a family, and He wasn't about to let the devil or anyone else on earth. That dream from coming to pass. God didn't regret man's existence. He regretted that man was living on the earth under the curse instead of THE BLESSING. Even now, millions of people that say they are Christians, do not understand the message of prosperity. In some way or another they are against that message. God grieved (felt anguish and deep, heartfelt pain) because mankind--- this also means reproduction of Compassion Himself--- has totally blotted Him out all their minds. That's why millions of people only called themselves serving God on Sunday or when it is convenient for them. They had become so consumed with sin, they thought of nothing else. They that are of the world, do pay attention only to the world and the things that are in the world. They had not one thought About Their Creator until something serious comes up in their life. No wonder He was grieved ! Wouldn't you be ? Even so, God took no pleasure in destroying those people. He wanted them to turn from their wicked ways and be saved. Today many things because they are a part of some group or denomination of their choice, that they are saved. That's why He made Noah a "preacher of righteousness," as well as a boat builder. Through Noah God kept calling out to mankind even though they wouldn't listen to Him. That shows just how patient and merciful He is. As wicked as those people were, it grieved His heart to put an end to them. But they left Him no other choice. Had he not washed the earth of them, those devil consumed people would have completely overran the place. They would have demolished any hope of THE BLESSING ever being restored. God couldn't and wouldn't let that happen. He put up with them until the last possible moment. He waited until there was only one family, eight people on earth who gave Him any thought. God is waiting on humanity patiently again to come out of the world system way of doing and thinking ! We must be born again of the water and of the Spirit. (1 Peter 1:23)
