THE BLESSING OF THE LORD ! Look at verse 26, 29: "For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus . . . And if you be Christ's, then all you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Now, come back over to (Isaiah 51:1- 2). Hearken means listen, to me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the Lord: looking to the rock whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you are digged. Looking to Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bear you [Or, look unto Abraham your father, and unto Jesus who gave you the new birth.] For I called him alone, and Blessed him, and increased him." We're the seed of that Blessing ! The promise is on us. Verse 3 goes on to say, "For The Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waset places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and heard doesn't like the garden of The Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, Thanksgiving, and the voice of melody." (Hebrew 12:18 through 24) calls the body of Christ "Mount Zion," but that is not a proof text for "replacement theology." The Body of Christ doesn't replace Israel as Zion. We are in Christ Jesus. We don't take anything away from Israel. We are the continuation of God's promise to Abraham. (Isaiah 51:3) is the Eden Covenant ! It was the covenant between God and Adam before he sinned. God wants His Garden back. He intended for that Garden to be spread all over this planet until the earth became the garden spot of the universe. Your place can be the garden spot of your universe. That was God's plan, and He never changes. He made man to live in. And that should have been the most beautiful environment man ever experienced because, "Eyes had not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9). The Garden of Eden was just the starting point. It should have been expanded by Adam and Eve and their descendents into a greater and greater area, while God just observed His children at work because He had handed over the power and authority to continue to create that Garden all over the earth. I am convinced that God's plan was for us to finish Expanding the Garden of Eden all over the earth, then take care of the other planets, and continue on and on. It's still His plan, But He had to start over again because sin got into the universe all the way up to and touching heaven. It didn't get into heaven, but the heavenly utensils of worship had to be re-sanctified by the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 9:21-23). The Blessing, then, is the key issue to creating the God of Eden in your life and influencing the world around you. However, the church which is the body of Christ have been influenced by the world around them; it was Jesus key issue, too. The reason the Pharisees and religious people got so mad at Him was because He was preaching the kingdom of God The Blessing of Abraham. They'd never heard that. They had heard the law and its curse. The people got so excited, they said, "You mean we're Blessed ?" The Blessing was healing and raising people from the dead. It was the power of the Blessed One, Jesus, God's Blessed Son. And The Blessing will do the same thing in your life ! The Bible is The Blessing book. These lessons your reading is simply a help to get you into the true Blessing book to bring its Blessing into your life. God's word will take you from living outside that Blessing-- where storms, disasters and hard times tear up and destroy things, to living inside it, appropriating The Blessings in your own life and replenishing the earth around you with it. In a short time, you will learn how to use the power and authority of God given you to release The blessing into your life. Father, I pray for the people that do follow and for those who will read these lessons. That according to (Ephesians 1:16 through 23), open the eyes of their understanding. You begin the book of Ephesians 1:3 with the word Blessed: "Blessed. . . With all spiritual blessings in heavenly places." All the blessing is ours, throughout eternity, before the foundation of the world. Oh God, fill our spirits with light and understanding about what you did for us through Jesus on the cross, and His Power toward us through the resurrection. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus name amen.
