THE BLESSING OF THE LORD !

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD ! Love and the gifts of the Spirit are tied together because the gifts are part of THE BLESSING. The more we walk in love, the more they will operate in our lives--- not just when we're in what is called church, but all the time. I want you to understand, God does not dwell in temples, buildings that are made with the hands of men ! God chooses to dwell in people; that are truly born again, not of corruptible seed: but incorruptible by the Word of God which lives and abided forever ! That's why if we try to function in the gifts, however, with unrepented violations of the love commandment outstanding in our lives, our tongue- talking will be worthless. Our prophesying will be empty. Our giving will not cause us to prosper. Why ? Because none of those things work without the love of God. Love is the powerhouse. It never fails. God is love, and He never fails ! But whether there be prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away (versus- 8-10). He is coming again. Religion has misinterpreted the last portion of that passage and taught people that we're in a new dispensation and don't really need prophecy anymore. But that's ridiculous ! The Scripture says prophecy is for edification, exhortation and comfort. Obviously, we still need that gift. So those verses must be saying something else. Insert the phrase "in other words" you will see what it is. After telling us in verses 1 through 8 how the lack of love robs the gifts of their true power, and describing to us the behavior of love, the passage goes on to say: "in other words, if you try to prophesy without the love of God, your prophecy will fall useless to the ground. It will fail. Even if it's true, it won't help the people who hear it because there's no love manifested in it. There is no power there. It's just did. Without love, your get to the point where you want even bother speaking in tongues anymore. Tongues will cease. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will just dry up and you won't operate in them anymore." Many so-called churches, have told the people that God doesn't use the fivefold ministry gifts anymore ! That they died with the apostles ! You need revelation knowledge to find out the truth. And the Holy Spirit is the only one that can give you such knowledge !
