THE BLESSING OF THE LORD !

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD ! As the servants of God, they were protected from the curse of the Law by the blood of animals. In their day, Satan still had authority over this planet and was ruling over it as the god of this world. And in our day, it may appear that Satan is still ruling the world system through the fallen nature of humanity. But when Jesus came, He defeated the devil and pulled him down out of his place of authority through Jesus who is the Christ . "Having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it" in His shedding of blood and by His death, burial, and resurrection, taking on Himself the sin of all Humanity.... Christ Jesus.... Redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hands on a tree: the cross, or the tree represents dying to the flesh and the nature of the devil. That the BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13--14). As New Covenant Believers, we are not only protected from the curse, we have dominion over it. It has no authority over us unless we yield to the old man. In other words, if you accept it ! The demon will push you at times to get you to yield or give in to the Flesh. He'll put symptoms of sickness and other parts of the curse on you to try to get you to receive it. That's when you have to dig your heels into THE BLESSING, refusing to let him get you to walk in the flesh, and fight the good fight of faith. What did Yeshua , Jesus, do on the mounting of temptation in (Matthew 4:3 through 11); Yeshua , Jesus has not died yet for the sins of humanity: "And when the tempter came to Him, he said, if thou be the Son of God command that these stones be made bread. (Notice, that the tempter tries to get Yeshua , Jesus to satisfy His flesh with Bread) it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by Every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Then the devil take him up into the holy city, and setts him on a pinnacle of the temple,(The pinnacle of the temple represents the systems of religion which is man-made not God ordained) And said unto him, if thou be the son of God, cast thyself down; for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee, and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Yeshua , Jesus said unto him, it is written again, Thou shalt not put the Lord, thy God, to the test.(Don't people under the impulse of Satan try to tempt God) Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceedingly high mountain, and shows him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, And said unto him, All these things will give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.( Then said Jesus unto him, Begone, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord, thy God, and him only shalt die serve. Then the devil leaves him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." What's my point ? You must use the written Word with faith to have victory over Satan, and live in such a way that you are not contaminated by the world's way of thinking and doing ! During my early years in ministry, I was preaching and a pain hit me in the back that absolutely doubled me over. I didn't know nearly as much about THE BLESSING back then, but one thing I did know was that sickness of any kind was a part of the curse, and Jesus has delivered me from it. So, I resisted the devil over that paying for three weeks. The whole time I preached when I'd stepped onto the platform, the anointing would hit me and I'd feel fine. But as soon and I'd finished the service, it would come back and I'd hurt so badly, I could hardly stand it. When I got home I was still feeling that pin, I heard the devil say, "it's a mile from this gate to your car. If you're fool enough to walk that distance, you'll have a blood clot loose in your back and I'll kill you before you can get home." I knew my covenant. I wasn't going to listen to his lies so I just said, "That'll be the day." I told him to shut up, and started quoting the healing Scriptures. About that time, a man pushed a wheelchair walked up to me. To this day, I didn't know where he came from. I hadn't said anything to anyone about needing a wheelchair. "You need this, don't you ?" He said. No, thank you, sir !" I answered, and then say to myself, "Healed men don't ride in wheelchair." I took three or four steps and then pain hit me again. "See there ?" The devil said, "I'm going to kill you between here and the gate." "Devil, you don't have the power to kill anyone ! I snapped back. "I am born again. I am filled with the Holy Spirit. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. You're not going to kill me today. You're not going to kill me tomorrow. You're not going to kill me the day after that. My life is hidden in Christ Jesus and I am redeemed from the curse. So you shut your lying mouth, and get out of my presence." And he did, and the pain stop !
