THE AGREEMENT FACTOR : The words you are speaking, even when you are not confessing the Word of God should be in agreement with the Word of God. (Numbers 13:26 through 33). Now, notice what the spies said unto Moses and Aaron and the congregation of the children of Israel. "And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. And they told him, and said, we came onto the land to which thou Sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Watch this, "Nevertheless, the people are strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and, moreover, we saw the children of Anak there. All the spies except Joshua and Caleb, are operating in sight and in fear. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negev; and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the age of the Jordan. And Caleb still the people before Moses, [listen at his words], and say, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. [Now, listen to the other spies except Joshua]. "But the men that went up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. Verse 32 say, "and they brought up an evil report of the land, which they had searched, unto the children of Israel, saying, the That land, though which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And them resolve the Giants, the sons of Anak, who came of the Giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight." The words that they were speaking were seeds, whether or not you intend to plant them. God's law of seedtime and harvest works. It works all the time. You don't just turn it on and turn it off, and say, "I'm saying all of these things, but I'm not really planting seed, I just saying this, or that." If you keep saying it, you are planting seeds. James said: "If any man among you seems to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." (James 1:26). He deceives his own heart, ladies you are included as well. He is deceiving the soil of his heart into believing the things spoken all what he or she wants. You could say, "I want a harvest of wheat," but if you plant corn, you have deceived this soil. The soil will produce corn. I know they don't preach or teach these things in which you call church ! However, it will not produce wheat, because the seed determines the harvest, not the soil. Their life is in the seed. Let's look again at what Jesus said in (Mark 4). This puts some balance into corresponding action. "And he (Jesus) said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear." (Mark 4:26--28)
