STOP BEGGING AND START BELIEVING ! You're not only redeemed from your pasts sins and failures, my Bible tells me that I have been redeemed from the curse of the law; the curse being threefold in nature property, sickness, and spiritual death: that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14) you're redeemed back into THE BLESSING. As far as God is concerned, that BLESSING is already on you. However, you cannot conferred the BLESSING on your life acting and doing what the world is doing. No, there is no compromise when it comes to the WORD of God. Because you are BLESSED you with all that Heaven has an all that heaven can do. Think of it ! Everything God has, everything He is, every angel and all kinds of other glorious spiritual assets we haven't even heard of yet, or all hours right now in Christ Jesus. They're not going to be given to us one day in the future, reserved for the sweet by and by or when we get to heaven. The Bible says very clearly: "BLESSED Be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has BLESSED us [past tense !] With all spiritual BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ: according as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love (Ephesians 1:3-4). Just because these things are in the Bible, does not mean that they will automatically drop in your life: you and I have to appropriate them in our life ! Please understand in God there is no darkness at all, He Is Light, and we are commanded to walk in the Light as He is in the Light. It's time we, as believers, start acting as if those verses are true. It's time we stop going before THE LORD in prayer saying, "Oh God, please bless me !" That is an absolute waste of breath because we are already BLESSED. We are as BLESSED as we can possibly be. Many people have brought up in traditional style church of unbelief, needing something to make them feel good; once you get your emotional high then you leave the building the same: then you say "we had church this morning" instead of begging God to bless us, what we ought to be doing is developing our faith in what He had already said and done for us. We should be meditating on what the Bible says about who we are and THE BLESSING that is on us, so that we become aware of it all the time. You shouldn't be mimicking the world systematic way of thinking and doing ! We should be thinking about it every day of what God has done and said that we are: for instance Easter has been commercialized to the point to where people only think about it on the day that the world has established it for you to worship God. No, you should be living a resurrected life daily. Put it on 3 x 5 cards on the refrigerator and on your bedroom mirror to remind ourselves of it, and constantly saying to oneself: "I am as BLESSED as Adam was before the Fall. I am as BLESSED as Abraham was. I am as BLESSED as Jesus is. I am BLESSED !" Sometimes, people who think of themselves as gentile believers hesitate to fully embrace that second statement. Because they were not born Jewish, they think they are somehow less BLESSED than Abraham and his flesh and blood descendents. But the New Testament says otherwise: even as Abraham believed God, it was accounted to him for righteousness..... Abraham did not believe with his five senses; they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. In the Scriptures, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which are of faith are BLESSED with faithful Abraham (Galatians 3:6-9). According to those verses, all born-again believers on earth no matter what their physical birth-- are just as much heirs of Abraham as if they'd been naturally born into an Orthodox Jewish family. We are all as BLESSED blessed as Isaac or Jacob or Joseph because we were born again, we were born into a very Orthodox Jewish family. We were spiritually reborn of the Father Himself. We're no longer gentile because, by definition, Gentiles are people who have no coveted with God. They are "Without Christ.... Strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world." That description split us before we were saved, but not anymore. Now, we are in Christ Jesus. He has delivered us from that godliness condition and the curse that goes with it: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3: 13-14).
