SPIRIT LIFE ARE Spirit DEATH: There Is a Spirit of Life in God's Word. There is a faith, a spiritual power that is capable of bringing to pass what God has promised. But it has to be received. It has to be conceived in the human spirit, the heart. There is Spirit Life in the Word that Mary received. She spoke it when she conceived it in her spirit. Then it manifested itself in her physical body. THE WORD BECAME FLESH: this is the key to understanding the virgin birth. God's Word is full of THE God kind faith and spirit power. God spoke it though the mouth of Gabriel. God transmitted that image to Mary. She received the image inside of her. She immediately began to say what God said: "Be it unto me according to thy word." When she did, the angel Gabriel left, because she was in agreement with God. The embryo that was in Mary's womb was nothing more than the Word of God. That is why some people become confused about the virgin birth. They say it couldn't have happened. They look at it biologically. It was both biological and spiritual. She conceived the Word of God. Some people say, "I don't see how that could have happened." Peter gives us some insight into this when he said: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever." (1 Peter 1:23) The word of God is a living, incorruptible seed which permanently dwells and abides. In Genesis, chapter 3, God prophesied Satan's defeat. "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head... (Genesis 3:15). We know and medical science knows that a woman does not have a seed. The seed is carried by the male. The sperm is considered the seed. But God said the seed of the woman. And God knew what He was talking about. What seed is He talking about when He said the seed of the woman? We know that Jesus is the seed referred to in (Genesis 3:15). But Jesus was also the Word of God made flesh. (John 1:1--3). He was the word made manifest in flash. (John 1:14). So, the seed of the woman referred to in (Genesis 3:15) was the seed of the incorruptible Word of God. It is the incorruptible seed talked about in (1 Peter 1:23). Mary conceived the word in her spirit [heart]. It manifested itself in her physical body. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14). One translation says, "the word took upon itself flash." It was the seed the woman received from God. It was conceived in Mary's heart [spirit], and it manifested itself in her physical body. I believe that any believer who would receive the Word of God concerning any promise in the New Testament [any promise that is for today, if they conceived it in their heart [spirit], it would manifest itself. Notice it didn't happen overnight to Mary. It was a process. There was a time span involved. This is a process. Confessing God's Word is a process. It's a way of life. It takes time to build the God kind faith. Some start too late--- when it's a life-or-death situation. If doctors can help you, don't be condemned over going to a doctor. God wants you alive and well, the devil wants you dead and out-of-the-way. If medical care can help you, get some medicine. Get well. Get in the Word and stop the next attack with God's Word and your faith, your faith filled words will put you over and your doubt and unbelief will put you under. Here is the point I want to make confessing the Word of God is a process of building it into your spirit, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). "How, then shall they call on him in whom they have not believe? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:14--15) you should do it continually. Then over a period of time it will manifest itself. "But what saith it? Please allow me to paraphrase, what does your faith say? The word is near thee, even in the mouth, and in the heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach: in other words what you have been saying is the object of your faith. Bible faith is the God kind of faith: that faith in God will only say what God has said!
