SIT DOWN,THE WORD OF GOD HAS US COVERED ! Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest , lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Many are still trying to please God with self efforts ! And the Bible clearly tells us that, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." If there wasn't any faith in the Word of God you and I could not possibly obtain Faith in God. For the Word of God is quick, (a live), and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. . .(Hebrews 4:12). Religious tradition or man-made: you know the 3R rules, rituals, and regulations. They call that the church politics, it makes the Word of God of none effect in the lives of people. Believe God and enter His rest. "How do I do that ? I'm glad you asked. It is simple, it will take a good theologian and some religious traditions to mess it up. God's Word is full of promises: pick one and get your mind wrapped around that promise! You start by going to the throne room of God, and simply telling Him what is written: you must be consistent in this until it gets in your mouth then eventually it gets in your heart (soul) Even in the midst of the most dire circumstances, those are God's instructions to us. Even when we're facing our own personal giants, He wants us to cease from our own works, start running in circles, you need a Word ! do what He did on the seventh day of Creation and trust THE BLESSING to take care of things for us. He wants us to get up there, right next to Jesus. . . And sit down. How is such a thing possible ? I'm glad you asked, Look again at the last verse of the passage of the above scripture. It says we can do It For (or because) The Word of God is. . . Quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do (Hebrews 4: versus 12-13). We can sit down because no matter what kind of situation we're facing, no matter how dangerous and confusing it may appear, God's Word covers it, seeing through it and will reveal the answer to its defeat. The living WORD of God will penetrate the darkness difficulties and shed light on the most impossible situations. I'm a witness of this ! We can sit down and relax next to Jesus with The Book of His wisdom in our laps, knowing that everything is open and clear to Him. You must be persuaded that the Word of God is true and it will do what God said it will do. It doesn't matter if there is walls on every side, or everyone is talking doom and gloom, and they have trouble all around them. It doesn't matter if we've just lost our job and the economy has gone belly up. We can sit down and shout, "Hallelujah ! The Word has me covered. Everything is going to be all right! That takes faith and confidence in God.
