SIT DOWN. THE WORD HAS US COVERED ! (Romans 1:16). "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." The Word of God is the power of God when it gets into your heart (soul) by way of your mouth. It changes you and your situations when applied appropriately. (Romans 10:6 through 10). "But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in thine heart (soul), (by way of your mouth): Who shall ascend into heaven ? (That is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep ? (That is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it ?(In other words what says The Word of God ? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart (soul): that is, The Word of Faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, or the Word which is Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart (soul) that God hath raised him from the dead. You shalt be saved. For with the heart (soul) man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Hebrews 4:1-2) warns us not to do that: " Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise has been left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them :( the Israelites of old) but The Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.(In other words they did not put what God said in their mouth). For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, as I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. God has already work out your salvation; the word salvation is the all inclusive word: that means, your healing, your preservation, your soundness of mind, and your deliverance from all temporal evil. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, if they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached ( the old Israelites entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limited a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if you will hear his voice, (Words), harden not your hearts (soul). For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. You and I can rest up on the promises of God: and it is up on those exceedingly great and precious promises that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through your desired. For this very reason, adding your diligence to the divine promises, employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue excellence, resolution Christian energy, and in exercising virtue develop knowledge intelligence, and in exercising knowledge develop self-control, and in exercising self-control develop steadfastness ( patience), endurance) and in exercising steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety] And in [exercising] godliness [develop brotherly affection, and in [exercising brotherly affection [develop] Christian love. For as these qualities are your and increasingly abound in you, they will keep you from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One). For whoever lacks these qualities is blind , [spiritually ] shortsighted, seeing only what is near to him or her, and has become oblivious [to the fact] that they was clients from his or her old sins. (2 Peter 1: 4 through 9)
