SIT DOWN.....SAYING What God Has Said !

SIT DOWN.....SAYING ! We usually think about what happen to Peter that it was a miracle: what occurred with Peter. But actually it was just THE BLESSING in operation. For him and his partners, for they had work all night, but caught nothing: But Because you say so, I will let down the nets." THE BLESSING ! And since THE BLESSING was on Jesus, they jumped into Peter's net even when the sun was shining. The same BLESSING is on the obedient believers today, and it will work for us anytime, anywhere just as it did in Peter's day. THE BLESSING doesn't care what the economic conditions are. It doesn't care if the stock market is up, down or sideways or if the prognosticators are proclaiming recession or depression. It just keep on working, making us rich and adding no sorrow with it. If we'll put faith in that BLESSING and enter God's rest, we can stop worrying about finances once and for all. We can give up working for a living and just report to our heavenly Father for our assignment every day. We can get up every morning and say, "Praise God, my financial fish are coming in faster than I can catch them. I'm on my way to a boat-sinking load of abundance. I am BLESSED !" We've already discussed the importance of the confession of faith, but it bears repeating. If you want to live in God's rest, you must continually declare THE WORD OF GOD over your situation. You can't just sit there and be silent. Faith talks ! So hold fast to your confession of faith. Sit down, saying THE WORD of God about your situation and nothing else. Sit down with praise on your lips and declare, " THE LORD is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him will I trust. I have a Father, and He is God Jehovah Jireh. He is my strength and my overflowing power. He is the sustainer of my life. I don't fear when I walk through the dark valley because my God is with me, and He is the biggest one in the Valley. I don't have a care in the world because He cares for me ! I know it's not always easy to say those things. When bad news of some kind is screaming at you or your body is in pain, the last thing your flesh wants to do is say something good. It would much rather talk about how horrible things are and how sick you feel. But don't yield to it. Instead, sit down in the secret place of the Most High right next to Jesus and keep speaking THE WORD OF GOD. Jesus has taught this kingdom principle in Mark's gospel (Mark 11:22-23), beginning with verse 20; "And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursed is withered away. And Jesus answering said unto them, have faith in God. For truly I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." If there wasn't any faith in the Word of God, then you and I could not obtain faith. Faith in God comes by hearing, and by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10: 17). Then we are told to hold fast to the confession of our faith. (Hebrews 10:23 Also notice, Jesus dealt with the root of the problem area!
