SIT DOWN,GOD'S WISDOM IS ON THE WAY ! " But, what if my situation requires me to take action ? You might ask. "How can I sit down and rest in faith when I don't know what to do ? Resting in faith, is resting on The Promise of the Word of God. Follow the instructions in (James 1:2 through 6). "Count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, not wavering. For he that waiver it is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. The King James Bible. The same verses in the amplified Bible reads "Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith brings out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. Verse 5, if any of you is deficient in wisdom: in other words if you don't know what to do in your situation, you should go to God with the word of God; ask of the giving God [who gives] to everyone deliberately and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or fault finding, and it will be given him. Verse 6: only That it must be in faith that he or she asked with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the bellowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither (here there) and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord. Verse number 8: [for being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, is irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about anything [he thinks, feels, decides]." If you knew what to do, it wouldn't be a trial. So count it all joy and sit down in God's rest, believing His wisdom is on the way. Stop wearing yourself out, racking your brain hour after hour, searching every nook and cranny for the answer. You need to get off the helmsman wheel of human reasoning and stop asking yourself what we should do. Instead, you need to start asking God. He will always tell us; if we ask in faith and show us what to do in every test and trial--- even those we brought on ourselves by our own foolishness. Asking in faith ! Is primarily asking based upon God's Word: putting God in remembrance of what he has promised, That Word will not return void it will accomplish what it is sent forth to do; God's holy angels harkens or listens to The Words of God to perform them. (Hebrews 1:14) "are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent in the service of God for the assistance of those who are to inherit salvation.?"
