RIGHT CONFESSION -- DOOR TO THE SUPERNATURAL ! : You know, people can get sick mentally as well as physically, and God can heal mental illness as well as physical illness. But we must learn to stand against the enemy of all humanity. The Bible instructs us to "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Well, you might ask; how do you do that. Jesus was led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, he was afterword a hungered. "And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God." I always treat fear and anything else the enemy always tries to tempt me with as if it were a spirit, because the Bible says in (2 Timothy 1:7) that God has not given us "the spirit of fear" (an evil spirit). Fear has torment. God is love ! And perfect love casts out fear. If I'm tempted to be afraid, always say, "Fear, I resist you in the name of Jesus Christ. I refuse to be afraid." When I first started practicing that years ago, I had a battle, because fear would try to take advantage of me. However, now that I've resisted the devil all these years, he always runs when I start talking to him about what the Word says ! People who easily lose their temper also should practice resisting the devil. When you yield to that temper of yours, the devil can come in. And the more you yield, the more that temper or anything else that you yield to you become the slave and it will grow and will rule you. (Romans 6:16). "Do you not know that if you continually surrender your sales to any one to do his will, you are the slave of him you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God) ? The amplified Bible. The King James of the same Scripture that is quoted above reads "know ye not that to whom you yield your sales servants to obey, his servants you are home you obey, whether of sin unto death, or all obedience unto righteousness ?" But the more you resist anything the devil brings to you and I might add every man is tempted and drawn away by his own lust when he or she is enticed. But the more you resist it, speaking the Word of God to it the easier it will be for you to overcome it when you first start holding your temper are any of these other areas in your life in check, there will be a battle, but every time you win makes the next batter easier. You must realize that you don't grow up spiritually overnight. Spiritual growth, you see, is similar to physical growth. As we practice God's Word, we will grow spiritually.
