PLANT THE SEED AND IT WILL GROW ! I didn't live by faith just now and then when I found myself in what is called a church. I did it every day. What you plant will brought whether it's seed of doubt, seed that says you can't, seeds of maybe. Some people think God just gave me the ability to live by faith because I'm a preacher. They say I have some kind of special gift for it. But that's not true. The faith I have came by hearing.... And by hearing.... And by hearing THE WORD of God. The hearing part is in a continual sense ! I like to call the time we spend hearing and meditating on THE WORD The Buildup. It build us up to a place of the God kind of faith. It gets us ready to step out on that WORD and release its creative power. During The Buildup time, do everything you can to feed on THE WORD. Listening to teachings CDs and watch DVDs with our Nortel preaching that covers your situation. If you're believing to get all of debet, then get messages on that subject. Get out your concordance and make a list of debt and prosperity scriptures to read and study. Get a recorder of some kind and record those scriptures so you can listen to yourself say them over and over. Turn on the recording when you go to bed at night so you can hear THE WORD while your body sleep. "Well, I just don't understand how listening to the same verses over and over again is going to do anything." That's your problem, you're too busy trying to think how it's going to work ! You don't have to understand it. All you have to do is believe it and act on it. If you'll do that, THE WORD will work whether you understand how it works, or not. Jesus said so in the parable of the sower, where He referred to THE WORD of God as seed: "So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should care seed into the ground (heart); and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.... It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth (heart), is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: (heart) but when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth are great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it (Mark 4:26-27 through 32). THE WORD is the seed of faith. If you keep on planting it in your heart, not your head; (and don't uproot it with words of doubt and unbelief) it will grow. Your job is not to figure out how, but to incline your ear and open your heart to it by saying, "Yes, amen ! God promised that, and I believe I received it. It's mine." When you do that, you're activating a key principle that Jesus taught his disciples. They ask Him one day to increase their faith, because he was discussing forgiveness of your brother 7×70. And He told them: if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you (Luke 17:6). A mustard seed plant, cannot be cross pollinated with any other plant in the world. In other words, it is consistently the same. Your words of faith have to be the same ! Jesus made it very clear: if you want more faith, don't waste your time praying for it. Instead, take the faith you already have (you can be sure you have some because the Bible says that "God hath or has dealt to every man: that's every born again man or woman the measure of faith"), plant it, and it will grow up and become greater than any challenge in your life because greater is He (THE WORD) who is in you than he who is in the world.
