Now Faith is !

Now Faith is: (Matthew 12:33) "Either make the tree sound healthy and good, and it's fruit sound healthy and good, or make the tree rotten diseased and bad, and its fruit rotten diseased and bad; for the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruits." The amplified Bible. You, or to say "The Lord is my helper." Is He ? You, or to say, "the Lord is my healer." Is He ? You, should be saying, "He took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses." Didn't He ? Keep talking about the right things. Believe the right things. It is simply wrong thinking, wrong believing, and wrong talking which defeats people. You see, the devil can't defeat you. Jesus has already defeated the devil for you. Satan doesn't defeat you; you defeat yourself ! Or, if Satan does, it is because you permit him to do so. It is a consent of ignorance. God has given us His Word to begin our thinking straightened out so that our believing will be right. (Matthew 4:3- 4) and the tempter came and said to Him [Jesus], if you are God's son, command these stones to be made [Loaves of bread. But He [Jesus] replied, it has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but my every word that comes forth from the mouth of God." The amplified Bible. If I will thinking is right and I will believing is right, then I will talking will be right. We must not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. It is taking on God's thoughts after Him it is being imitators of God as dear children. The Lord is my helper. The Lord is my strength. Real faith in the Words of God says, "if God says it is so--- then it is so. If He says, "by His stripes you were healed"-- then you are healed. If He says, "God shall supply my every need"-- then He does. If God says, "He is the strength of my life-- then He is." Why do people often ask God to give them strength when he has already said he is your strength. In other words, real faith in God simply says about one's self what the Word says. Thank God, I have what the word says I have ! I am what the Word says I am ! If He says I am strong--- I am ! If He says I am healed--- I am ! If He Says He cares for me-- He does ! So I simply, quietly, rest on the Word of God. Not on what I feel or what I see or what I think or what others say ! For the Words says, "for we which have believed do enter into his rest. . ." (Hebrews 4:3). I believe and therefore I quietly rest on the word of God regardless of evidence that would satisfy the physical or the natural. Real faith is built on the Word of God. Meditate on the Word of God primarily on the New Testament. Dig deeply into it. Feed upon it. Then the Word will become part of you, just as natural food becomes a part of your physical body when you eat. What natural food is to the physical man, the Word of God is to the spiritual man. The word will build into you-- the real you, the inward man or woman--- confidence and assurance. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.(Romans 10:17).
