NOW FAITH IS: (Proverbs 4:20--22--23) "My Son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my savings. Let them not [the words ] depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they [the words] our life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that guard, for out of it [your heart] flow springs of life." The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook." (Proverbs 18:4) . A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips on the snare of his soul." (Proverbs 18:7). And, (Proverbs 18:20- 21) A man's mailing shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips share he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Many people fail because they see themselves as failures. They think failing they talk failure they talk sickness and disease a turning point came in my life when I first saw these Scriptures. Until that time I had always seen myself failing. I could picture every detail about it. But after I read these Scriptures, I could see myself whale. I began to see myself alive. And I began to see myself doing things I never done because of where I was it in life. I knew God had called me to preach, and I could see myself preaching. I began to get ready for it. I asked for a tablet and counselor and I got my Bible and began to prepare sermons. They weren't appreciable at that time--- but I was getting ready. Many people fail because they get ready to fail. Notice what He says: "Let them [my words] not depart from thine eyes." Now think for a moment. Don't you know that if God's Word says in (Matthew 8:17) that Jesus took your infirmities, and bore your diseases, and if you do not let that word depart from before your eyes, you are bound to see yourself without sickness and without disease ? You will see yourself well if you do not see yourself without sickness and disease and if you do not see yourself well, then that Word has departed from before your eyes. And even though He wants to make His Word good in your life, He cannot, because you are not acting on His Word ! It is difficult for me to follow the reasoning out some people that God is going to do something for them without their doing what the words says. He is not ! God cannot ! Even though He wants to, He cannot. You see, if He did, He would be violating His Word and making Himself out to be a liar, and the Bible says God cannot lie. Right here in Proverbs God tells us that His Word is medicine to us. In the 22nd verse He says, "For they [his words] our life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." The Hebrew word translated "health" is also the word for "medicine." In other words, "God's Words all medicine to all their flesh." But in order for medicine to be effective, it must be taken according to directions. And the first two verses [verses 20 and 21] give you the directions for taking the medicine ! Does God have any medicine ? Yes, thank God, he does. His Word are life unto those who find them in medicine to all their flesh. However, that medicine must be taken according to directions, and one of the directions is, "Let them [my words] not depart from thine eyes." Keep looking at what the word says ! If God's Word says He heard and answered your prayer, and if that Word does not depart from before your eyes, then you are going to see yourself with what you pray for ! Many are defeated in their prayer lives because they do not see themselves with the answer. They just say everything getting worse. They look at the wrong things, so they walk in unbelief and destroy the effects of their praying.
