LIVING THROUGH HIM,YOU'RE UNLIMITED ! "Well, I just don't see how someone like me could be much of a blessing to anyone. I don't have that much to offer." On our own, none of us does, but because we've been born into the family of God and made joint heirs of THE BLESSING, we're not on our own anymore. We're not limited to the meager resources of this natural world. Many Christians put limitations on God and themselves; we have access to the limitless resources of heaven because we are living through Jesus. That should be a revelation to many ! (1 John 4:9) says it this way: "In this was manifested the love of God toward us... That God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Notice the word might , that means it's not automatic we have to choose him daily ! Exactly, what does it mean to live through Jesus ? Imagine a baby who has been abandoned. No one knows who his or her parents are. Here she whirls just picked up as an orphan off the street. On his or her own, that baby has no name, no inheritance. He or she has no status in life at all. But, then, someone finds him or her. They take him or her to the hospital, clean him or her of and call a loving, wealthy Christian couple that has been wanting a child. The couple takes that baby into their home, legally adopts him or her and just falls in love with either. They're so thrilled with the child they carried him or her around and show her off to all their friends. "This is our baby !" They say. "Isn't she beautiful ? Don't you think she looks like us ?" Suddenly, that chart isn't nameless anymore. She isn't poverty stricken. She has her parents name. She lives in their house. She's as rich as they are because, as there heir, everything they have is hers. That child is no longer will bound and limited by the conditions of her natural birth. She no longer has to live in the poverty she was born into. Her adoptive parents have given her a whole new life. She is living through them ! The same thing is true of born-again believers. We've been adopted into our Fathers family. Even better, we've been reborn into it and made heirs and co-possessors of all our Father's power and wealth through Jesus who is THE BLESSING. We are living richly through Him. Don't ever again entertain the idea that you don't have much to offer. You have everything to offer ! You have the wealth of THE BLESSING at your disposal--- 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You don't only have the privilege of enjoying all the benefits of that BLESSING yourself, you've been commissioned by God to pour them out on others. One minister who called a glimpse of this fact years ago was Kenneth E. Hagin. Sometimes, when he was preaching and the anointing of God was on him, he'd just walk through the congregation pointing at people and saying, "Be BLESSED ! Be BLESSED !" Often, the power of God would flow out through him with such strength, it would knock down two rows of people. I didn't really understand it back then, but I like it and I could tell Kenneth Hagin was trying to get something across to us by doing it. Then, one night as I was watching him, the word of The Lord came to me. He said, Bobby, my people don't realize that they have the same power to BLESS that I do.
