LIFE AND DEATH IN WORDS: WORD POWER ; Most do not realize the power of words. Do you realize that the things you are speaking out of your mouth are setting the cornerstones of your life ? Words deceive us. In the garden of Eden, the serpent deceived the woman Eve in the garden. Words transmit. Think about that. The words that you speak transmit faith or fear. So when we are talking about your spoken words, we are talking about things that are powerful. We were stored in Genesis where God looked on over the darkness that was over the earth. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, "Let there be light": and there was light. (Genesis 1:1-3) would you notice that the spirit of God was hovering over the water. The water was there. The darkness was there, and the spirit of God was there. But nothing happened until words were spoken. God said, "Let there be Light." When God spoke, it came into existence. His Words Were His creative power. So many people today think of words as being unimportant. You have heard people make statements like this----"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." It is nothing further from the truth. Words can kill you. If you don't know what you all doing with words, they will destroy you. And the demons that are roaming the earth will see to it ! "The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them ."(Proverbs 11:3). Perverseness is crooked and contrary speech. Proverbs has a lot to say about perverse lips--- crooked and contrary speech, or speaking things that are contrary to what we actually believe. Many people speak perversely. They don't know why they do it, but they do. And the reason they do it, is because of the old inherited sinful nature of Lucifer, the devil. You must understand, that when the devil deceived the woman in the garden and the woman beguiled the man that the received the devils nature for he was a liar from the beginning. You have to break yourself of it. And the only way is to acknowledge Jesus who came to the earth in your stead took your place bled, hung and died on the cross for your transgressions and minds. It was his blood that atoned mankind the free gift of God. You must be born again ! Often you speak the very opposite of what you mean. You have heard people say, "oh That, isn't that a big dog !" When it's a little baby Chihuahua. That is what the Bible calls perverse speech. It's crooked or contrary. You are speaking contrary to what you actually mean all believe. God created man in His own image And in His likeness. God's Word is His will for man. When I say the man, I mean mankind, and ladies you are included. Man was created and the image of God. Man's words----your words----should be your wheel towards God. We really shouldn't speak anything that we don't desire to come to pass or that he is not how will. DEATH AND LIFE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE: You've heard people say, "What you don't know won't hurt you." But the truth is what you don't know is what is killing you. Proverbs says: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." (Proverbs 18:21). I preached a message entitled the devil is after your vocabulary. It's true because of man's broken fellowship with a loving God our Creator. We are talking about how to get our spoken words in line with the Word of God. God's word conceived in the heart, then formed with the tongue and spoken out about the mouth becomes a spiritual force releasing the ability of God. There are words that you can see in the human spirit. Then you form them with the tongue. Have you ever noticed that your words or syllables are separated by the tongue when you speak ? Jesus said, "Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit." Jesus again talking to the the religious people of that day, "O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things ? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." (Matthew 12:33-34). The words of God created in the human spirit, then formed with the tongue and spoken out of the mouth releases the ability of God. Let's put it this way--- it should be that. This is how God intended for you and me to conceive His Word. You can also conceive an speak of the words. For instance, if it's the devil you all quoting, you are releasing the ability of the devil in your life. It's just that simple. Many people have failed to understand why there is so much teaching on confession. Some criticize us because of our confession and teaching on the power of God's Word in the mouth. Actually, what we are doing is simple Bible truth. We are simply showing you how to operate in the kingdom principles of God's Word. GOD'S PRINCIPLES: God's principles are involved in confession and the principles of faith. The Bible says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. It didn't say that's the only way we can get faith. Faith in God's Word comes by hearing The Word of God. By the same token, you could say that faith in the devil the world comes by the same method. Faith in the devil could come by hearing the words of the devil and the world. So you see, we shouldn't take a truth and try to make the truth out of it. Hearing the word of God causes faith in God and in his Word to come to you. This spiritual force is also released of your mouth when you speak God's Word. It actually releases God's ability on your behalf. However, this must be developed. I believe that he is one of the reasons Paul said----"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." You on the other hand are probably saying that I'm just a failure because you've heard you're just like your daddy are your mom, and all you see around you is failure sorrow sickness and disease. If you don't like what's in your life stop saying what you're saying and start saying what God has seen !L
