JESUS PREACHED THE KINGDOM OF GOD !

JESUS PREACHED THE KINGDOM OF GOD ! You probably have been told that God doesn't work the way He used to work when it comes to signs and wonders: because it died out when the apostles died. No, that is not the Truth ! Jesus trained the 12 apostles to preach The Kingdom of God; not the salvation message, which is A Part of the Kingdom of God. Notice, in (Luke 4:40 through 43). "Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any who were sick with [various] diseases, brought them unto him (Jesus); [Notice Now the ministry of laying on of his hands] on everyone of them, and healed them. And [demons] also came out of many, crying out, and saying, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of God. You do know that Christ is not Jesus last name, and the fact is that demons are testifying to the fact that he is Christ: Christ simply means Anointed or The Anointed One. Notice that Jesus rebuking these demons: "and he, rebuking them, [did not allow them] to speak; for they knew that he was Christ. And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place; and the people sought him, and came unto him, and [would have restrained] him, that he should not depart from them. These people saw something that they normally would not have seen, because Jesus came preaching the kingdom of God, and not necessarily the salvation message. So, they did not want him to leave them. "And he said unto them, I must preach The Kingdom of God to other cities also; for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee. My question to you is what was he preaching in the synagogues of Galilee ? The answer would be found in (Luke 17: 20). "Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with sign to be observed or with visible display, (Now these were Pharisees self-righteous religious people of the dispensation of time of Jesus day; Jesus is simply telling these religious people that the kingdom of God does not come with signs to the religious people to be observed or with visible display. Remember, it takes faith to please God ! "Nor will people say, Look ! Here [it is] ! Or, See, [it is] there ! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you]. And He said to the disciples, the time is coming when you will long to see [even] one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see [it]. And they will say to you, Look ! [He is] there ! Or, Look ! [He is] here ! But do not go out or follow [them]". The amplified Bible. I want you all to also Notice in (Mark 3:6 through 12). "Then the Pharisees went out and immediately held a consultation with the Herodians against Him: (The Herodians were a sect of Hellenistic Jews mentioned in the New Testament on two occasions-- first in Galilee, and later in Jerusalem -- being hostile to Jesus. In each of these cases their name is coupled with that of the Pharisee, some more religious people of Jesus dispensation of time; in fact we still have these fascists religious groups of people. "How they might [devise some means to] put Him to death and Jesus retired with His disciples to the lake, and a great throng from Galilee followed Him. Also from Judea And from Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from about Tyre and Sidon-- a vast multitude, hearing all the many things that He was doing, Came to Him. And He told his disciples to have a little boat in [constant] readiness for Him because of the crowd, lest they press hard upon Him and crush Him. For He had here are so many that all who had distressing bodily diseases Kept Falling upon Him and pressing upon Him in order that they might touch Him. And the spirits, the unclean ones, as often as they might see Him, fell down before Him and kept screaming out, You are the Son of God ! And He charged them strictly and severely under penalty again and again that they should not make Him known." The amplified Bible.
