JESUS AND THE TWELVE PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD ! Jesus and the 12 apostles demonstrated the power that is in the kingdom of God. Please Notice in (Luke 8:41 through 56 ). You are going to find that Jesus was demonstrating the power of the kingdom of God and to miracles took place because of their faith. And the text that is found in (Luke 9:1 through 9). "Then he called his 12 disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all [demons], and to cure diseases. [Demons and sicknesses are diseases are associated] "And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. People are hearing the salvation message, but in many cases they are still sick; because they have not heard the gospel of the kingdom of God. They do not know the power of being born again, because they have been taught that they will experience, no pain, no sickness, no suffering, no tears when they get to heaven. That is partly true but that is not all the truth. "And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither [staff], nor [bag], neither bread, neither money, neither have two coats apiece. And whatever house you enter into, there abide, and from there depart. Now the reason for this portion of the text is that Jesus wanted the 12 disciples to depend upon him for everything anything ! "And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere. My question to you is what gospel were they preaching ?
