IT'S TIME TO ENTER GOD'S REST !

IT'S TIME TO ENTER GOD'S REST ! (Galatians 3 says it this way: "to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ... And if you be Christ's then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise (versus 16-29). The singular nature of the word seed is very important here. When used in reference to Jesus, it indicates that every promise of THE BLESSING in the Old Testament was specifically direct it toward Him. He was the singular Seed to whom THE BLESSING of Abraham belonged. But that's not the end of the story. The chapter goes on to say that those who are in Christ are also Abraham's seed. Notice, the word seed used two referred to us is just as singular as when used in reference to Jesus. That means THE BLESSING is directed as specifically towards us as it is to Him. We have exactly the same right to walk in it as Jesus does. Remember that the next time you read The Gospel accounts of Jesus ministry. Practice seeing yourself in your mind's eye, not as a hungry member of the crowd waiting to be fed, but as the one multiplying the loaves. Instead of seeing yourself as the woman pressing through the crowd trying to touch Jesus garment, because the one wearing the garment. By faith, put on Jesus coat of BLESSING because, as His joint heir, that anointed coat belongs to you. According to God's WORD, this whole planet belongs to you and me, and every other believer. "The promise to Abraham and his posterity, that he should inherited the world" is ours as heirs of THE BLESSING. Through Jesus, the last Adam, we have once again been given title deed to the earth. Through Him, mankind has gotten back the Garden. "But doesn't the Bible called the devil the god of this world in (2 Corinthians 4:4) ?" Yes, but the Greek word translated world there refers to the demonically dominated, heathen world system of this present age. That's the only thing the devil can claim as his own because the earth itself doesn't belong to him anymore. Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth now, and that authority is ours through Him. According to God's Garden of Eden timeline, that puts us back on the seventh day. It brings us back to the point described in (Genesis 2), where God "rested from all his work." For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said.... And God did rest the seventh day from all his works... So what are we going to rest upon ? You and I are to rest upon the written WORD of God ! That remain is therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his (Hebrews 4:3-4 through 10). With THE BLESSING back in operation, we, as believers, don't have to toil, sweat and strain to make a living like people who are dependent on the ungodly system of this world. The earth doesn't fight us when we cultivate it, nor does it produce thorns and thistles and curse us every time we put our hand to it. That curse has been lifted from us ! Because of what Jesus did, we can enter into God's rest and put THE BLESSING to work for us. We can stop struggling along in our own strength and trust THE BLESSING to empower us to fulfill our original mission. What is that mission ? The same as it's always been: to create the Garden of Eden where ever we go. We do that first by preaching the Gospel (good news). We share the good news that Jesus has come, paid the price for our sin, and gotten back THE BLESSING for all mankind. And, we do it by letting people know that through Him, the Garden of Eden is open again. When people believe that message and are born again, we help create the conditions of the Garden in their lives by teaching them how to walk, talk and live in THE BLESSING, just as Jesus did. That's called "making disciples," and one of the ways we do it is by giving people an example to follow. We walk in THE BLESSING, ourselves, so that they can follow us as we follow Christ. We become living demonstrations of THE BLESSING by bringing the compassion, power and glory of God on the scene wherever we go.
