How to put your Confession to Work for You !

HOW TO PUT YOUR CONFESSION TO WORK FOR YOU : God said to put Him in remembrance of what He said. (Isaiah 43:26). It wasn't that God had forgotten what He had said; but He doesn't want you to forget it. It is for your benefit and your families benefit that you confess the Word of promise over yourself as well as your family members. The Scripture says that, they that are of the world do mind the things of the world. Discipline yourself to confess God's Word. It is for your benefit. And I know that this is a challenge, when you have been so conformed to the world's way of thinking and doing. God gave Joshua this commandment or advice: please understand that all that the Old Testament people had was the law of Moses which is a book of works, you will not find very much teaching on faith. "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou may is observed to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success. "(Joshua 1:8). Many people, have the idea that if they visit what is called church, that they are in right standing with God. Notice that Joshua was to observe to do all that is written therein. In other words, speak it and meditate on it, and then do it. When you make your way prosperous, then you will do wisely. One translation says, "... You will deal wisely in all the affairs of life." PROSPERITY DESTROYS FOOLS: One of the contentions against the prosperity message is that some contend, "prosperity will destroy you." But the Bible says that prosperity will destroy a fool. (Proverbs 1:32). If you go by God's method and confess the Word of God, then after you have made your way prosperous you will deal wisely in all the affairs of life. Prosperity is a blessing, not a curse, if it is obtained the Bible way. Prosperity is not just in monetary again, but it encompasses the whole man, spirit, soul, and body. When you are confessing the Word of God, what you are saying is setting your goals, and many people do not understand God's method because they have about the Satan's lie about prosperity. Even Satan himself knows that if you would obey God's Word. You are going to prosper even as your soul prosper. And planting the seed in the soil of the heart. It gives you direction. It establishs the direction. If you don't know where you are going, how would you know when you arrived ? How long would it take you to get there ? As we confess God's Word of promise, we establish God's goals and His will for our lives. You must confess God's Word out loud so that you can hear your own voice--- that brings faith, because faith cometh by hearing. Faith does not come by reading. Faith does not come by praying. You can gain some faith by hearing your particular preacher. We have assumed that it did. But the Bible does not say that faith comes by reading or praying. It says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). I continue to confess God's Word of promise for many months. The Word totally changed my life. I would not be preaching this, if it did not work. When I started confessing the Word of promise, I was very negative. But over several months God's Word changed me, and God's Word can change you because it has spirit life in it.
