HOW DO WE GET FAITH !

HOW DO WE GET FAITH ! : Yes, every human being that is born in this earth has a humanistic faith, that is based upon the five senses. And every human being were born in sin shaped in iniquity. However, to develop the God kind of faith, and to be born again; it takes the acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of a Savior and the renewing of the mind (1 Peter 1:23). The God kind of faith, is developed over a period of time spent in the Word of God. Just like anything else that you indulge in, takes time to develop. You can either develop your body, or your spirit. And even your mind ! Which is the soulless part of humanity. Now, dealing with the God kind of faith, in our foundational Scripture which is (Mark 11:22) in the story of the cursing of the fig tree, Peter calls to remembrance and reminds Jesus that the fig tree has dried up to its roots. Jesus answers, and says unto them, "Have Faith In God." In the book of (Acts 11:13--14) we have the record of Cornelius; "And he showed us how he (Cornelius) had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved." God instructed Cornelius to send for Peter in order to learn the plan of salvation. In the great Commission, recorded in (Mark 16:15--18), Jesus told his disciples, "Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. . ." Cornelius had not yet heard this glorious Gospel. He was not saved. Note also that Cornelius was a Gentile. God told Cornelius to send for Peter who was an Israelite in order to learn the plan of salvation. Why did Cornelius have to send for Peter ? Why couldn't the angel have explained the plan of salvation to Cornelius just as well ? [Angels cannot preach The Gospel. God has given this task to man.] The verse "Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved" shows us that men are saved by hearing words ! The reason for this is because "faith in God cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Just as fear cometh by hearing and hearing the words of your adversary the devil; When you are me, listens to the world which is the cosmos, or the order in which we live you are either living your life under the power of the world and the devil and are doing and saying things that are not in line with God's Word. Your adversary, do not want you to know that he is powerless over you, Why ? Because Jesus Christ has stripped him of the authority that he usurp from Adam and Eve. In other words, they gave their dominion of the earth over to the fallen one. This is why you as a spiritual being living in a body, possessing a soul, must be born again !
